Tv was easy to set up and picture is great. The only thing is that you need to warn people that there is a one time $100 charge to set up the Roku feature.

I first bought a comparable (or so I thought) Vizio TV to save some money, but was sorely disappointed in Vizio's smart TV platform, HDR performance, and some wonkiness in retaining audio settings and other small details. When this model went on sale, I exchanged the Vizio for it and couldn't be happier — all the rave reviews you see online for the 6 series are completely justified. Fantastic picture quality, outstanding HDR performance with Dolby Vision or other formats, and the Roku platform is a pleasure to use, especially with its smooth integration of antenna and other external sources. Highly recommended.

I have owned this tv for a month and believe it is great value. There are other TV's with better picture but not close to this price point. Roku is awesome

for the $$$ (500 for a 55" hdr) it cannot be beat one downside, viewing angle, colors fade FAST when seated not directly in front of the set.

The picture on this tv is awesome. And FYI 99% of the people talking about vertical banding issues wouldn’t even know what that was if they didn’t see it online.

This Television has great picture, not too difficult to use, like the options we have when using WiFi and TV antenna living in the outskirts of town.

Picture is very nice and the blacks great for dark room viewing. This is my first Roku TV and I am impressed with the simplicity of the operating system.

This TV is an exceptional option for the budget consumer - super picture, easy to set up and the price is great.

TV is great so far! Can’t be beat for the price. Would have liked to have seen the better Roku remote included but that’s all I can complain about now.

Do be careful with this model! Quite a few complaints of vertical banding with the new 2018 line. Not sure if it is wide spread, or with a certain batch, but I was one of the unfortunate ones. Just an FYI. Not recommending this until this issue is addressed.

Purchased one month ago. Very easy to set up and use. Excellent picture- particularly where the broadcast/stream is in UHD. No issues with image or sound.

This TV is better than I thought it would be and much better than our 8-year-old Samsung. I thought I would miss the 240Hz refresh rate, but so far, not at all.

I had a Samsung 1080p TV for 8 years. It worked great but recently died. So I was in the market for a new TV. It’s hard to go in store and look at TV’s they all start to look the same. I researched online and there were a couple of TVs that we’re worth it. If you don’t want to spend $1000 on a TV, this is perfect. The picture quality is awesome. I watch movies, tv shows and sports mostly and so far the experience has been great. The one negative thing is that the remote is too small. I’m used to remotes being a little bigger. It feels like it will break easily.

This tv is awesome! Our whole family loves the picture and all the Roku tv functions. Very easy to use and connects well to audio devices.

You can't get a better TV for the money. Great picture and features. One minus is that the universal remote codes don't work on it as of now.

Great value, quality and sharp image. Easy to unbox and configure. No voice activation on remote for this model, but the Roku app makes up for it.

This is a great TV for the price. The picture quality is great. The only complaints are that the menu is really slow and the remote is awful.

I did a lot of research prior to buying this tv. It has received a lot of praise and awards from the tech community. This TV has not disappointed. The picture quality is excellent. The sound quality is actually a lot better than I thought it would be, especially for as large of a room as we have it in. I have had this TV for about 2 months and have no regrets. My in-laws have had the older model of this tv for the past couple of years, and I can tell you that it has also been excellent and they have not had any problems. Don’t waste your money on the “big” name brands.

TCL 6 series (and now 6 series quantum or 8 series) are competitive with far more expensive tvs. If you have the extra change you might consider a vizio quantum x and a separate amazon fire stick, Apple TV, or Roku box if you want better visuals and quality smart features (vizio smart features are very lacking). But if you want an all in one tv that can still produce quality HDR images at a low price the TCL is where it’s at.
