The TCL Series 6 55” tv is awesome. The Roku tv has really good graphics and decent sound.

This TV has many great features and is low priced, however, it has several quality issues. My set has vertical banding across the entire panel that is distracting during sports and any other scenes that pan against solid backgrounds (like any sky shots). It also has rather large dark corners on all four corners and dark spots across the top and bottom of the panel. Those issues unfortunately make the overall experience of viewing the TV poor, no matter what tests say about the color and darkness of the TV. Some reviews say that they only see these bands and corners during grey screen (see shots below) - I see them clearly during regular TV. It is difficult for me to return this TV because I live in a city and don't have a car!

This TV is amazing for the price. Watch movies or playing PS4 or Xbox it looks next generation.

I have has no issues so far, 4K is great, upscaling is great, sound is acceptable, the only down side is it doesn’t process fast motion as well as the more expensive tv’s but is better than most. This tv is better then most tv’s in the $500 to $2000 range. I have returned many tv’s in the 1500 to 2000 range do to poor picture, brightness, motion control. For the price this tv has exceeded all expectations

To sum it up - The picture is amazing. The images are sharp. Setup could not have been easier.

i went through 2 of these tv do not i repeat do not buy this tv if you have the extra cash you you want a awesome tv that doesnt have vertical banding like crazy go with the Vizio P series is what really stinks this TCL could have been so good if it wasnt for the awful vertical banding and believe me it doesnt just show up on white or grey screen it shows up on everything i started noticing it when i was watching Logan on 4k blu ray there is a 99% chance that you will end up with a bad panel so just save yourself the time and get something else the worse part is TCL knows about this problem and if you call them they just that its normal and let me just say i never cared or even noticed vertical banding on any other tv till i got this one this could ruin TCL in my opinion because they should of done a recall and fixed the issue but they dont care anyways here is a pic of the banding on TCL and trust it looks way worse in person if wanna take a chance and get this tv go ahead and if you get a good panel awesome enjoy cause there is a 99% chance that your going to have to exchange this tv multiple times before you get a good one.

It is a great television that was priced very reasonable, fit my budget and my wall.
