    This tv is awesome. I have never had a ROKU tv, and this one has been great! I have not had any problems with it really. Only thing that has happened is it disconnects to my internet a couple times which is annoying. But it usually works on the second or 3rd try

    This television is pretty awesome. I had to return the 55 inch I originally bought due to the screen not being bright enough. Best Buy exchanged it no problem and the replacement looks great. I lowered the rating to 4 stars due to the original television being dim.

    We've had this TV for 1.5 years now, and it is outstanding. It didn't break the bank, yet it has given us everything we needed from a Smart TV. All the reviews we read prior to purchasing were spot on -- this TV is an excellent value for the money.

    The tv is great!. Mostly pros the only con is the motion blur which is expected with the refresh rate. There is a setting to offset this but it darkens the display considerably. Over all a fantastic purchase!

    Our other TV was a Samsung 3D TV but we wanted a TV with ROKU built in. We’re very happy with our 55” TCL. The TV is in a room that is south facing and gets the sun all day which does effect the picture some what but not to the point of being a disappointment for us.

    Been using the TV for well over a year now, the only complain I have is it sometimes for no apparent reason the TV turns off - the screen goes off and needs to be powered on again. Apart from that, it's a good screen.

    Picture is great IMO however the screen goes black a few times a night since purchasing it. Will be returning for something more reliable.

    There was so much hype about this tv that I expected more. It has a nice picture but for watching hd tv channels and Netflix etc I think the 4 series would be just as good for hundreds less.

      Both of the mentioned series include a built-in Roku operating system, 4K UHD, and HDR Support. The 6-Series builds on this and has additional features such as Dolby Vision, wide color gamut, CCZ technology, a brushed metal cabinet, etc. Our Contrast Control Zones (CCZ) is part of the powerful performance package available on our new six series TV.     Overall, I found its quality pretty high. The build quality is rather good, the screen quality is rather good and has a lot of the features you'd expect from higher end TVs. If you're looking for an upgrade without wanting to break the bank, this is the best option

    After first I was worried, new product, not alot of reviews on line, but the sales associate gave me some facts on the tv, also we were able to compare the tv with other ones and I have to say, this brand is a good tv. We're very pleased with it.

    Very pleased with this TV. I was going to buy a Samsung but the local store personnel recommended this TV for the price range I wanted to stay within, very happy with it even though I had to exchange the first one due to the volume control not working.

    Got this for my brother, and am happy to report that he’s had none of the other issues this TV has been having (banding, uniformity, etc.). He’s been very pleased with the overall picture quality.

    Within a year of use the remote begins to fail. At first you’ll think it’s the batteries but ultimately it becomes clear it’s just performing worse and worse.

    I am very happy with this TV. I have had no problems with it, and I think that Roku is by far the best smart TV platform. Well worth the money. The only minor complaint is that the sound could be far better, but is easily fixed with a soundbar.

    TCL 55" series 6 give a great picture. It has back lighting, not cheaper side lighting. Back lighting provides even light distribution. Other TCL series do not have back lighting. Back lighting is found in OLG expensive televisions.

    Standard picture is excellent, the price is hard to beat. However, it doesn't handle fast motion well at all and the speakers will vibrate with just a little bass. Like the Roku interface.

    Had to return it. After the update it worked for like 1 day w/o any issues, after that on the 2nd day it started to turn off by itself. I did turn off the power saving features, did the factory reset and nothing worked. After the 8th time of turning off by itsel,f it went back to Best Buy, I don't think that I'll ever consider buying another TCL again, I'll go with a different brand. The TV was manufactured in Sept. 2018, probably a bad batch. I watched Tombstone and the blacks were too black, specially when the actors were wearing the black cowboy suits. So, that was another reason why, crisp colors but too dark even after I tried resetting the picture mode. If you're one of the lucky ones that didn't have the "turn off" by itself issue, good for you, but also I can't deal with the "Roku" remote nor UI. Also, when you take a TV back to BB, don't bother putting it back in the box, they'll waste your time by opening the box, pulling it out and they "have to test it".

    Stopped working after 18 days

    Worked great for over 2 weeks then the screen would go black (video would stay on). Called Geek Squad (since I purchased Geek Squad protection). Geek Squad transferred me to TCL customer service. After almost an hour of talking to TCL Customer Service, unplugging the TV, doing hard resets, the TV still remained black. Amazingly my connection with TCL Customer Service got disconnected. They did not contact me again, even though they asked for both a contact telephone # and email address so they could reach me in the event of being disconnected. I'm stuck with a TV that doesn't work, Geek Squad who passes me off to TCL and TCL who couldn't resolve the problem.

    The picture quality is very good for the price, but the tv gave up after 40 days or so... Returned it for a 2018 Samsung Q6F

    The 6 series is awesome this my first 4k TV and I did a lot of research for my money and when I saw ces 2018 and the TCL booth I was sold check out the video reviews on this TV and you will be sold to best to you can buy for your budget.
