    We used this in a outdoor pool house. The screen is bright enough to produce an excellent picture during the day. The built in "smart" made it very easy to setup.

    Have been streaming via Roku for a long time. This is very convenient and if you download the Roku app you can do everything without the remote, even use earphones!

    Amazon had a fair amount of bad ratings on this product due to bad dirty screen effect and vertical banding. BestBuy did not disappoint. Easily the best $600 I’ve spent.

    This tv has the very best color and brightness on any tv under a thousand dollars and Roku is an added bonus. Don't be concerned with the name as this is a great TV

    TV looks great. Smart features are limited to to how much you want to have it do. Screen can seem a little dark while playing games but I’m still testing out settings.

    The picture looks great but the TV shuts off randomly. After doing some research it seems this is happening to a lot of people and may be firmware related and has been going on since Nov. People have been told a fix is coming, but still no fix out so I'm not waiting around for it to happen. Will just exchange it for a different TV. Wouldn't recommend it until this problem is fixed.

    This TV is my best investment so far. I've been at two houses with it and it has never failed me. Its great quality however not the best sound.

    I don't think you can buy a better 4KHD tv for the price. Under $500. and it is a Great TV. No banding issues, do not think you can go wrong with the 55" TCL Roku TV.

    Interface while using this is unnecessarily clunky and slow. Sometimes shuts off in middle of viewing program after being on for a few hours.

    I purchased this TV and loved the picture quality but had to take it back to Best Buy becasue it kept shutting off. Some Reddit post said it was a software issue but I did take it back to bestbuy. The return process was smooth and I did reach out to TCL customer service and they were willing to get me a new TV but decided it was best to return to Best Buy and got an LG.

    the guy at best buy sold me on this TV and I havent been disappointed yet! the only annoying thing is roku having to sign in multiple times.

    WIFI PROBLEMS

    So disappointed " TCL Roku 55'' series 6. I couldn't get it connected to my wifi network. initially worked, downloaded an update on initial setup, then stopped working. Sometimes it shows the list of networks, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes in the network setup screen it shows the MAC as all 0's but not in the secret menu. I contacted TCL customer support .They recommended me to return the tv or use a hard wire connection.TCL case#577116.
