A Best Buy associate recommended this tv has never heard of this brand and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Best purchase

Complaint is that it doesn't auto size from SD to full size. You have to use the remote to change size of picture.

Needed an ARC HDMI cable for audio to work with my older receiver. The older HDMI cables wouldn't work. Very pleased so far.

This is a Great Television for the money. The sound is a bit Tinney but that's why they created soundbars.

Wow! Just Wow! This TV is better than most TV brands that cost triple the amount . This tv is great for all video needs and superb for HD and HDR gaming with under 20 milliseconds of input lag and also has a very high peak brightness almost reaching 1000 nits! I Love just love this tv and the easy Roku enter-face.If I have to give this model tv any negatives it would be the fact that TCL is shipping some tvs that have poor vertical banding and dirty screen effects I unfortunately was one of those 1% victims and had to return the tv to Bestbuy for a exchange and this time I was lucky to receive in return a excellent clean panel. Pros: Low Price $$ Picture quality Roku interface Full Array Local Dimming Deep Dark Blacks and great wide color gamut Great motion handling Low input lag great for gaming and using as a pc monitor Cons: The TCL R16 panel lottery they need to improve their quality control to seed out shipping the few faulty tvs. Viewing angles could be better but that’s normal for VA panels. I hope TCL decides to produce and sell their quantum dot tvs in the United States and just not Europe and other countries.

Read a lot of online reviews before jumping on this. Was glad to buy an open box version to save even more on this great tv!
