Very grainy and pixelated on a lot of movies including new ones, it’s been like this since I had the Tv, it has a lot of potential and I hope it gets fixed on an update.

Bought this tv 11/2023 and stopped working exactly a year after in 11/2024 didn’t want to turn on at all we tried everything from changing the remote battery and plugging and unplug no more TCL for me!

Picked it up today all excited. Plugged it in and was horribly terribly disappointed at the screen with bright lines at the bottom edge. See my photo. I will drive it back to BB tomorrow.

My TV came with a black spot on the screen. I took photos and tried to talk to technical service, but I couldn't.

Great picture and color, sound is good for average room. Easy setup, lite enough for one person to mount. Google TV interface is fast and smooth. Hard to beat for price.

Awesome tv. Great picture, and sound. I purchased two of these tvs. One for kitchen and one for living room. I play my PlayStation 5 and switch also on this tv, great Clarity and color. I would buy this brand again. Plus it’s a 55 inch and it’s super light and durable. The remote is simply nothing complicated. The set was super fast also, and the google tv is a plus. But must say it’s a very good tv. And you can’t beat the price. Best Buy has the best price for this tv. And if you get the annual service plan. The tv and everything else you own can be serviced by the Greek squad. ( but you have to ask someone at Best Buy about that :) If you get this tv you wouldn’t be let down.

I’ve had the TCL Q5 55” QLED TV for almost a year now, and overall, I’m really impressed with what you get at this price point. I bought two of these. Installed one last week and so far I really love the picture and ease of set up. It didn't take much tweaking out of the box. Angle viewing is very good and brightness in a well lit room with large sliding glass door and many windows was great. I have 3 other TCL tvs, two 50" series 5 and a 55" series 6. All are between 5-6 years old and have never had problems. I will install the other new one of these next week along with and 85" QM7 so I'm obviously a fan of TCL. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the Google OS. It's not nearly as simple as the Roku OS on ally older TCLs. Teaching my wife how to use the new OS is already giving me anxiety. I did not review sound because I'm earc'd to 5.1 sound system. However, I did need to mess around with the Sony receiver and TV settings more than I would have preferred to get the system to default to 5.1 surround. It wanted to go to all channel stereo and settings weren't easy to find so maybe that deserves the 4 stars too if your a Google OS fan.

So far this TV is pretty nice. Picture is great, but it has lag when connected to my PC dock, unlike my older TCL. I’m not sure if the Google just sucks or if it’s just a setting I’m missing. I do like the operating system of the Roku platform better than the Google platform and wish it was Roku. Other than settings like not being able to turn off the TV speakers but still allow it to adjust my sound bar and the delay from turning it on to switching to my firestick, it’s ok.

Don’t let the price fool you this tv is absolutely amazing! The picture quality really blew me away. It’s better than my LG which really surprised me. It’s very responsive and the picture quality is beautiful! The colors are great and I’m impressed every time I watch anything on it! Only thing i would recommend is a sound bar. Sound isn’t terrible but could be better but is perfectly fine without one but for best sound possible I decided to get a sound bar. Other than that it’s a perfect tv and I 10/10 recommend it! Don’t let the price fool you I promise!

I would definitely recommend this amazing TV! When they say official TV partner of the NFL they mean it. The first thing I did was watch a game and the sound, color, and quality were better than I expected.

After getting home and getting it set up, I turned on the michigan game on the local fox affiliate and we were very underwhelmed...it looked bad, but when we looked at every other channel (all 100+ channels), every other channel looked amazing!!! It turns out that the field level cameras look very good but the overhead camera on just that channel looked bad. Every other game on every other channel looks amazing! My buddy who helped me get said he was blown away at how great the QLED looks and I haven't even added the 4K programming to my youtube TV account yet. I can't wait to see how good that looks. I don't know about the sound because I have a nice 5.1 channel setup with soundbar that is hooked up to it. I'm really impressed at how great everything looks on this TV and for the price, it really is unbeatable for a 4K QLED TV. My buddy who currently has a nice 4K TV is looking at buying this. I would definitely recommend this TV, especially for the price.

I gave it a 5 star based on the price and performance. I'm not a pro reviewer of TV's. I bought this knowing it's not going to be anywhere near the quality of higher end TV's so i wasn't expecting much. Quality comes with a price. This was to replace a cheap Toshiba Amazon TV which I hated. The former was slow and glitchy. This one works great. Does not respond as fast as my hisense U7 but it's ok at that price. My bed is pretty far from the TV so everything looks good to me. Not gonna go to details about the blacks and whites. It does it's job for casual viewing of TV shows, Netflix, Hulu and whatnot. Can't say about games since I don't have one hooked up it. I find that the theater night mode seems to have the better picture. As with the android TV's now, I love the free TV feature which pulls channels from OTA and apps. They made it pretty simple to use. The sound is loud. I can hear it fine from across the room when not using my sound bar. Over all, I think if you're not picky and just need something to watch TV and don't want to pay high prices...this should work just fine. Hadn't found any issues so far.
