I did, however, research the calibrations settings through a simple google search and it made it look even better. Remote seems easy to use, and response times for the Google system is quick enough. All Apps are easily downloaded with no issues. I AM running into a problem at the moment with hooking my sound bar up with this tv. I am using the ARC connection and sometimes it works and others it doesn't produce sound. This could be a user error, as there are many options for sound output and pass through options. I'll have to mess with it more to see if I can get it resolved. All in all, the picture and resolution looks fantastic and system easy to navigate.

Good picture but hope you love ads

Seems good so far had it about a month. Make sure to turn on app only mode and block the domains that serve ads to android tvs to get all of the content rec garbage and deluge of ads out of your face every time you turn it on.

Not an OLED but better than standard 4K!

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are downgrading from an OLED (for what ever godforsaken reason) then you will be completely underwhelmed with the performance of this TV, it simply doesn’t stack up to the power of a nice OLED. However if you are upgrading from a regular HDTV, tube tv or even a standard 4K tv this will be a pleasant upgrade at a more reasonable price than a OLED or 8K tv. I recommend this TV for anyone on a budget who wants a slightly better than average picture quality or gaming experience. If it’s just for grandma save the money and grab a standard 4K tv of the same size, they’re practically giving them away and the picture difference is only going to be noticed by a somewhat trained eye.

Have cell contacts backed up on google, I have all my electronics synced on google. So when I bought this TCL GOOGLE TV, it was a no brainer. All my login accts are saved out there, so it made setting up the tv simple. Great price, great picture, great sound, dont need my bose speaker for this tv. Excellent warranty and BB rep service

About as good as the OLED screens without the burn in issues, at a fraction of the price! A great deal for the quality and budget minded. There was one issue, the day that the set was to be delivered was cancled without a phone call or email. I only found out when I went online to check the TV specifications for hanging it on the wall. It wasn't delivered till the day after the Superbowl game. But Best Buy did good. They mailed me a $35 gift card.

Amazing value but major design flaw

Gaming on my PS5 has never been better. There's also a ton of adjustable settings that I'm still exploring but having fun with me. A minor complain is the android OS sometimes runs a bit slow. One MAJOR design flaw is how thin the back of the TV is. There's a small box with vents at the center of the TV but the rest of the back panel is so thin, that it HEATS up quite a lot, to the point that you can feel the warmth in the room. I have never felt a hotter TV, including those up on display at my local BestBuy. Conveniently, this exact model isn't up on display. The 75" Q5 Series that was on display has a much thicker back and feels warm at the most, despite being turned on all day per the BB associate. In fact, when I brought this up to the BB associate, he told me I should get it looked up. Ended up getting it replaced, but the new one still heats up the same, so it seems it's mostly a design issue with the 55" model (and potentially smaller ones). Does not seem to be an issue with performance but I guess we'll have to see. I'll keep the TV because I got an excellent deal on Black Friday, but I wouldn't buy it again due to this issue. BUYER BEWARE.
