NO 4K streaming

There is no HDMI 2.1, so you can not stream 4k in 120hz using a Roku 4K device and you will want to buy a Roku 4K device since TCL made the mistake to start using Google TVOS instead of Roku OS. This TV does not have adapter to natively stream 4k at all. All your apps will stream in max 1080p. If you need a budget PS5 monitor that can display 1440 in 120hz, than this TV is ok for that monitor purpose. HDR and VRR capabilities are acceptable. If TCL had used Roku OS and included HDMI 2.1 than i would have given it 4 stars. But if you have no plans to add wifi for Google, or use apps, and want a decent priced huge monitor for gaming than this is ok.

Great value and great UI

I would not get this for my main living room tv if you're a videophile, however it works great for casual viewing. I got this to use as a bedroom tv and couldn't be happier. The UI is great and easy to use. The picture quality is very good.

I have a LG C1 OLED and in my opinion the TCL is definteky are really good alternative at less than half the price. For $230 for th 55 inch, youll have no regrets picking this up. The sound is amazing too.

TCL makes quality products. Only fault I can find is it says VRR for ps5 and console that support it, but it doesn’t actually seem to work with the PS5. I try to turn it on through my PS5 but my console this TV doesn’t support VRR. Not sure what the deal is

Good but maybe I’m slow

The only drawback I’ve noticed is that it sometimes lags and stutters, which is puzzling since I don’t have much downloaded. Aside from that, this TV is fantastic!

Very good right out of the box

Color, contrast, and tint all very good. Contrary to some reviews, viewing from an angle is quite good also. Network and account setup is a bit challenging. The remote is not easy to use but ok with practice.

The picture is excellent for the cost and the remote control inputs respond 10x faster than my older Vizio TVs. I'd absolutely buy another TCL TV.
