I can connect my VR

I bought this cause my cats knocked over my old tv and only half the screen worked. Very nice upgrade from the last one we had. My son games on it and is even able to connect the VR to it so that's a major plus. Anime looks stunning on it so I'm very happy so far.

The picture is absolutely stunning and does not have a problem with the sun that shines through my garage. It’s such a great picture I decided to buy second one and put them side-by-side to make my man cave more complete. Lol.

But if you need to rely on the built-in streaming options, you might think twice about this one. Picture though - for the price - this TV is amazing. Perfect bedroom or office TV.

Best TV I've ever owned.

It's bright, snappy, and has a decent amount of ports. I appreciate the gaming features as well; variable refresh rate and an option for 1440p is useful. I bought this TV and a PS5 for my man-cave and so far, in this budget, it's great for what I'm doing.

Good value TV

Also well priced for the size. Setup was simple, but the google TV OS causes a variety of bugs and crashes. Can't really fault TCL for that one.

Wanting to press one thing you press another and it takes you all the way to a log in page. It also glitches sometimes and randomly takes me away from what I’m watching. And the voice thing doesn’t really register the best either.

Budget TV

The backlite of her last TCL Roku stopped working and it was obviously cheaper to just buy a new tv. As she is 85 years old, you can imagine how hard it is for her to learn a new operating system, I actually prefer Roku myself as it is just so simple. She mostly watches Hulu Live, but after 3 weeks of use it is quite glitchy. Clicking on a channel sometimes results in sound, but no picture and also the volume doesn't always change when pressed. Could be the google operating system or the Hulu app. Impossible for me to know for sure. I myself cannot really tell a difference between the previous tv and this new QLED screen. Sound quality is as you can expect from any TV nowadays.

Great Buy!

Everything looks so real, like you could reach out and touch someone. I use Roku and I had to leave the setting to standard 4K to get the best picture quality. The HDR and Dolby Atmos setting make some content to dark to watch.

I don't care for the remote it is not really set up well. Should have purchased the larger television - however this tv has a really nice picture. Does not automatically go back to the original channel when shut off - bummer.

TCL 55" UHD QLED Bargin

It is bright enough in my living room during the daytime and when watchhiing 4K content the set really performs. The Google smart platform was no trouble to get comfortable with -- my previous platforms were Tizen (Samsung) and Roku.

I have been pleasantly surprised with the color range and its ability to handle 4K and HDR content as well as be visually stunning and responsive with my Xbox series x. Sound quality is only ok so if you want to sound good, I would recommend getting a sound bar. Overall for just under $400 it's worth it. Picture quality is good too once you fine tune settings.
