    The tv slowly dims out and just dies now. I have a Samsung that is 16 years old and it's still going strong. Not sure why tcl is only lasting 4 years

    This is a great TV for someone who doesn't necessarily care about specs. Not to say this is a bad TV , out of the box it's not great but after going through the settings you can get a great picture. Bought this for my mother and set up the TV. For the price not a bad standard entry level TV.

    This TV has excellent picture quality. It took a little work to find the picture and sound settings we like, but once we did, we haven't had to change them. My complaint is the slow menus. We opted to add an Amazon Fire Stick, and that improved the experience considerably.

    I got this 55" TV on sale with a 5 year warranty for under $200. I couldn't resist at that price. It is not the best available product, sound quality could be better, but for the price I really cannot complain.

    Awesome TV. great quality and options to fit what I am doing (watching movies, playing video games, etc.). The TV apps load very fast too (faster than the Samsung upgrade I have as well). Great price for the TV you get and 0 complaints so far.

    Not bad for the Black Friday price of $229.99. Google OS runs kind of slow on this tv. On my SonyA80J the same operating system runs so much quicker. Picture is good for the price. Color fades big time when viewing this tv on an angle. Sound is OK but needs tweaking in the advance settings.

    Upgraded from 43" TCL and very pleased with this new one. Speakers are weak as are most these days, as manufacturers probably assume all will go for a sound bar. However the picture is clear, and 55" is a perfect size for our room. Great TV for the money!

    Spectacular picture quality. I bought this for my 89 year old mother as an early Christmas present, who was still watching TV on an old 25 year old Sony. I never saw my mother so happy. I would definately recommend this TV to all of my friends!.

    Tv worked great good picture fast lots of features but something happened and the tv froze then after it restarted it got a gray bar on The left side of the screen

    This is an amazing TV and it even links to my Google account & also offers many other apps! I luckily got it while it was on sale! People should really consider purchasing their electronics at Best Buy because they ALWAYS have the best prices.

    I'm planning on buying another, just for the Google screen saver. I gave 5 stars for sound quality, I have a sound bar that I didn't buy with the TV connected, TV sounded great before I got that the sound bar connected, all 3 minutes of it.
