    A little disappointed in the picture quality of this TV compared to same or lesser TV’s. Have many TCL TV’s and the quality was not hat I was expecting

    Ok tv for the price. The Picture is a little washed out though, even playing with the settings. It’s a little slow to load too. But for 250$ it does the job

    Black screen of death after 12 1/2 months... TCL d

    Well I have owned this TV since 11/28/23 and yesterday 12/15/24 on probably it's 12th use only from original purchase, (was placed in a guest room) we got the black screen of death. As we were watching a movie we watched the screen take on what appeared to be a brownish tint before going to black. The sound still works but the screen is dead and of course TCL says sorry you're out of warranty. I should have spent a few hundred dollars more for a Samsung or LG like I have in the past and now I wouldn't have a 50-in paperweight hanging on my wall but I need to take down and get rid of. Thank you TCL for not standing by your products or customers. I will ask Best buy if they will help but I'm not counting on it. If they do I will happily repost with the news but again I don't think this will happen. I would avoid this brand at all costs.

    TCL tv review 2 month review

    This TV was promoted by the sales rep there. I get the TV home and it seemed great for the first 2 weeks. Now everytime i load anything, it takes forever. I have an LG in my living room and a samsung in my basement. Both of them work 10x better than this TV. The speakers have a large amount of static during any commercial, they break up randomly as well. My biggest issue is thenresponse time. Scrolling through the menu it takes 4 or 5 seconds sometimes upwards of 10 seconds, (yes i have timed it) to have the tv register what you selected. For example scrolling the home page to get to youtube app, it will take 15 to 20 seconds due to the delay and lag from when i select the button on the remote to actually being highlighted over the app. All i have to do is hit the down arrow 3 times and than hit ok, 20 seconds is insane!

    Google TV is not as good as I thought. The previous series with the Roku TV is way better. Not only is it because of the better and more user-friendly interface, but it also used to comes with AirPlay. In conclusion, the picture quality is okay for its price. However, anyone looking for a decent TV with built-in AirPlay functionality should not consider this.

    This tv lacks full array local dimming unlike its previous year versions. Its a downgrade in contrast and picture quality. Better go for a tier up.

      Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. This TV a new member to our new Q5 Class, not to be confused with previous generation 5-Series. They are not in the same feature bracket. For local dimming, you would want to look at our Q7 and QM8 Class TVs. Hope this helps!

    Tv build and picture quality is good. But tv remote is stopped working after few months . It is not getting paired with other remotes available on stores and not getting original tcl remote. Customer care is always same ivr and no representative to help with problem

    Within 3 days, tv started to show black screen. Tried all the steps available in internet, but didn't work, so returned it.

    TCL products such as this are full of glitches and electrical connection issues. TV failed and would not turn on and in home repair attempt was not successful. TCL replaced the TV and that one has issues as well it powers down unintended and you have to disconnect plug to restart. Stick with LG Samsung and Sony.

    Still waiting for my TV… Got this on 12/6 (purchase time) And I tried to set the TV myself. Found out the TV was too big compared to my TV stand. I called for exchange a smaller size to 50in. The delivery time was 12/16. I waited the whole day for someone to called me ( they didn’t even narrow the 4 hours window on 15th) and I called them before 7pm, people on the line told me the warehouse manager will call me within 3 hours. But no one called me on the rest of the 12/16 day. Also no one on 12/17. I waited until Monday 12/18. They said they don’t know why my appointment got canceled, maybe my TV got transferred to another warehouse something like that. But WHAT? And they made new appointment for me on 12/20. I was in the healthcare to do a blood test and I was almost over, I received the pre-call from delivery, they said they can only wait 15 minutes, I checked the appointment on next 10 minutes they cancelled the appointment. HILARIOUS! I waited you whole day, you can’t even figure what to do on your 15 minutes wait? I told you I am almost done! Why double standards! DELIVERY SUCKS!
