I am loving the TCL Q7. You can go toe to toe with Sony's x90 Even though it's a qled it has deep blacks amazing features 120 Hertz display and for PC 144 Hertz for the price you couldn't ask for more.

I purchased this TCL 55" Q7 Q-Class QLED 4K HDR Smart TV on February 3rd, 2024 to use primarily as the basement Xbox TV. In May 2024, I noticed that there was a defective pixel on the screen that stayed lit green and wouldn't change.
Because the TV was outside of Best Buy's 30 day guarantee, I reached out to TCL since they warranty the TV for the first year from manufacturer's defects (which this clearly was). After trouble shooting the problem with TCL's tech, I was given a link to file a warranty claim and I did so, including pictures of the problem (see pics in my review).
When I received TCL's response to my warranty claim, I was shocked and disappointed to read that they "noticed that the dead pixel visible on your TV does not meet the number of dead pixels covered by the manufacturer's warranty."
TCL's Limited Warranty posted on their website doesn't mention a pixel threshold for qualifying for a manufacturer's defect. However, when I complained I was directed to an obscure section of their website where they note that for this particular TV, it can have up to SIXTEEN defective pixels and still be considered an acceptable number of defects!!! SIXTEEN!

If that's the case, then I STRONGLY recommend you look into another brand of TV that has a higher quality control standard and stands firmly behind their products. I think it's really shady that TCL would hide and obscure this portion of their warranty from the consumer and frankly, question why Best Buy is selling such a poor quality product in their stores.
Buyers should be extremely cautious about purchasing any TV from a company like TCL that thinks it's acceptable quality to have up to 16 bad pixels on one of their TVs.

My Samsung 4k television only lasted 6 years. I took a chance on TCL and I am very happy. Now I have gaming experiences at 120fps and also Dolby Vision and Dolby atmos. This tv has all the features I want!

Don’t get suckered by the price. Cheap things ain’t good and good things ain’t cheap. This TV is a perfect example. Had it barely six months and the screen went black. Customer service kept making me send videos of the tv not working as proof and it was so annoying. Then they finally send a technician out who did absolutely nothing so they said they’re sending a new TV.
Took the new TV out of the box and plugged it in and the screen was absolutely destroyed.
They didn’t even send it in a box marked “fragile” just a plain brown that was creased like an accordion.
Called customer service back and they wouldn’t do squat. Told me send more pictures and videos and somebody would get back to me.
Just spend the extra money and get a real tv from a real company. Going a month without a TV isn’t worth the savings. Boooooo TCL. Do better.

I’m not having a very fun experience with mine due to always having to change the tv settings every time I turn this tv on. The specs are misleading as well because on the tv itself it says the hdmi supports 4k 120hz but the manual it came with says the specs are lower.

So I got this TV on Christmas Eve's Sale specifically for gaming. I've been looking up left and right and googling which settings needs enabling and disabling, but it's all been in vain. I'm stuck at 60 fps on every game and can't, for the life of me, get the frames to 120. (I game on PS5) I'm wondering if I might've bought a defective/faulty unit cause I'm also missing a couple of settings from videos I've watched. Please Geek Squad and Techs, help!
