Excellent choice of a QLED tv and for the price it has amazing quality, have had it for over a month with no issues and was easy to setup. My friend recommended this particular model as he's had it for a few years and I'm glad I trusted him in getting this. Great TV for PS5 gaming in particular.

Bought this in 2023 and yet it’s still amazing. The colors are amazing and gorgeous plus the 120hz display makes the games feel crisp. Love it.

A great TV for the price. The QLED screen with a fast refresh rate, good black levels, all the HDR specs, local dimming zones, all adds up to a great experience. I bought as a replacement tv for my sons room after his Roku tv died. I was hesitant about the GoogleTV part of the TV but after setting everything up, the fine grain control over the content and access to things like schedules and mature content was above expectations.

Awesome TV for the price. I bought it for the 120hz + 240 motion technology. Made gaming so much better on my new XBOX. I can 100% tell the difference in the refresh, so much smoother. The color no matter which input is great. TV looks like you’re live. FYI. This has 4 HDMI. 1: 144hz/120hz. 2: 120hz and the other 2 are at 60hz. The specs to this TV says it’s a 120hz tv. I believe you can get 144hz using as a computer monitor. Haven’t seen any games or shows register at 144. A little bonus the specs don’t say. Sound is okay, get a sound bar with an optical cable and this is a home theater on a budget.

This TV is so easy to operate and that’s saying a lot from me! Being a very mature person we seem to push buttons but never get where we think we’re going. Yes, we’ve been shown, but it’s still difficult…except this one! As I said, there are many apts that can be installed or all ready installed and that really helps us so much! This 55” TCL TV is the best one I’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot for me…because thru these 86 years there have been many. The colors are brilliant which helps us see the programs better and the volume control gives us the option of lowering or decreasing any time we want. Just saying if you want an amazing TV go buy a TCL 55” because this mature person said because she knows!

Bought this TV (55 inch) on sale for 399.99 and it is exceptional especially for the price! 120 frames come through vividly while watching shows, movies and playing games. There is an odd ghosting effect on animated TV shows and movies but all I had to do was adjust the judder in motion settings. Setup was easy and Google TV is very efficient at getting you connected to apps. I was on the fence for awhile about purchasing but I am glad that I did!

So I made the switch to this TV after having Roku TVs like the 58" Hisense and the cheaper 55" tcl Roku that goes for $250 ish (we moved that one to the bedroom). The 120hz is definitely awesome especially the 144hz HDMI on input one when plugged in with a 2.1 HDMI to a PS5 it makes gaming out of this world. Love the picture of QLED and the local dimming. Still trying to get used to the Google interface, I still have a Roku box hooked to it. IDK how well the sound is, as I have surround sound hooked into it and works well. I love the fact that it gives you more calibration ability than most. Stop debating and just get this TV, it's a great affordable QLED option with 120hz.

Excellent reception, picture, color, and ease of use. The TC comes with several preloaded apps and the ability to download any apps you want. Tech support was also excellent, as I am NOT tech savvy and could not navigate connecting an antenna.

Great TV. Bought it for PC gaming, needed 120hz native. This actually runs at 144hz as well, but I use Vsync to cap at 120. Works great, looks good.

Bought to replace Vizio with dead LEDs; this TV is really amazing. First TCL - if it lasts 5 or 6 years like Vizio I'll be happy. Picture quality is AMAZING with Apple TV 4K, PS5, and also screen mirroring from my iPad. I'm an architect and use BIM, and my projects look as good on the TV now as my iPad Pro. I've also tried some Blu-ray concerts in the PS5, and they look really great - scary great actually! One note - my first unit had a defect - the rear back panel was warped - took back to BB immediately and got a replacement. TV is hooked up to my Denon AV receiver and Energy speakers so can't comment on sound from TV panel. Brightness is crazy high - my eyes water when picture has a lot of "white" - had to dim a bit. I don't think you can beat this TV for $550 I paid.

So, initially, I had low expectations for a TCL TV for under $400, but when I hooked it up and started to adjust the settings, I was really impressed. Not only does it have great picture and sound for watching TV, but it also has 120hz refresh rate which makes it great for gaming.

Love the screen size and ability to handle dark images. GameMaster Mode is amazing, especially for games that can utilize 120hz refresh rates. While it does have a 120hz refresh rate, I discovered that there are no streaming services or cable services that stream in 120hz. While the refresh rate does still help with some of the motion blur, I didn’t realize I wouldn’t be able to fully utilize the 120hz refresh except in rare scenarios. Overall, the TV performs very well and has great picture quality.

Great color & brightness, Minimal glare in bright room. The Google setup is a bit frustrating. Also for me, to much add content for other shows on home screen. However. there is an option to remove those in settings.
I The remote backlight feature is a nice add-on, how ever I personally think to many buttons. To much redundancy in those buttons.
Another frustrating feature for me is "Settings". Not a big deal, but an easier path to the settings would have been nice. Going back and forth to change a setting because it times out is tiresome. I say that because it has taken some time to get the TV settings tuned in. Especially if you watch a lot of "regular TV" (cable).
The "upscaling" is pretty good, considering the quality or lack of same from our cable company. The speakers have good sound, but I did hook up my stream bar from old TV within a few days.
All in all, pretty good TV. The color and brightness make it a winner!

I purchased this 55” TCL Q7 a few days ago and so far so good. Picture quality is decent although color accuracy out of the box is mediocre. I have calibration settings below per a reviewer on YouTube. As of now the picture looks better after these picture settings are implemented.
I do have a few other gripes so far like watching 4K UHD movies on my Sony UHD player not looking great when using Dolby Vision. I use HDR 10 instead and prefer it right now when watching my UHD discs. Also my soundbar doesn’t turn off when powering off the TV and sometimes doesn’t turn on when powering up the TV. Also not a fan of the motion on this TV for movies but I’ve noticed that most newer TVs have the same issue with motion handling by stuttering on pan camera shots. I just messed with the motion settings and changed it to Blur Reduction: 1 and Judder Reduction: 3. I might lower the Judder to 2 bc I hate the Soap Opera effect and sometimes the 3 Judder setting might be too smooth for motion handling.
Some things that I really like about this TV is its remote. Buttons light up when you pick up the remote so no more fumbling with the remote in the dark. Little things like this go a long way. Also another plus is that the HDMI (E)ARC input is a HDMI 2.0 input so you truly get 2 HDMI 2.1 inputs (Inputs 1 & 2) for 120hz gaming. Unlike my Sony OLED that annoyingly takes up the HDMI 2.1 input as also being an (E)ARC input. Another great perk is having actual storage capacity like 24GB compared to some of these TVs only giving you like 5GB (which is ridiculous). And last thing is it’s a Google operating TV which I love. I highly recommend TVs that utilize Google because you get more app control settings like Force Stop for example. Plus its user interface is clean and simple or at least it is in my opinion..
Overall I’m happy with this TV especially for the sale price of $448.
Below are the calibration settings I mentioned earlier. Calibration settings are not universal and don’t work the same for each TV (so every user will probably have to make some more fine tunings to get their preferred picture) but I’m more happy with the color accuracy now. Also I’m not experiencing the picture settings issue with them resetting like some users have stated but it’s only been about 5 days so we’ll see..

The TCL QLED is a very hood tv! Its bright, has good color depth, even in blacks, which QLEDs arent known for. Setup is super easy and i love the remote. When it senses your hand the buttons light up.
The picture is fantastic. Tge only issue I found is in the HDMI inputs and their respective refresh rates. I have an extremely powerful pc that can push upwards of 200 frames even on high demand games. So i use hdmi port 1 thats supposed to do 144hz. With vsync off i get screen tearing which means the tv cannot keep up. Thats my only gripe. Considering its not an oled, the price and performance are spectacular for $599.

For the price, its a great TV. Definitely cant go wrong with it. Native 120hz for less than $1,200+ and up is the main deal here. Motion blurring works good, only ever use it for sports though. Colors are amazing. Viewing angle is pretty dead center so be aware of that. Sound is meh. I'd reccomend using a soundbar or whatever else your system consists of. Brightness is great, although personally id like it brighter.
