Massive improvement over an LCD tv would recommend also for the high refresh rate

It’s easy to use and the features are all there, but compared to a Hisense TV, the feature set isn’t nearly as adjustable or as easy to use. It’s not to say it’s a bsd TV though, as it’s a great TV and a giant leap above the ser it replaced. Setup was straightforward. The feet were easy to install and mounting was easy enough, though I wish this came with properly-sized screws itself. Setting up Google TV with the Google Home app on an iPhone went quickly, but the addition of the TCL Home app was a little annoying. Make sure you plug your devices into the correct HDMI ports. Computers should always be HDMI 1, as that’s your 4k/144 port. PS5 or Xbox Series X consoles go into HDMI 2 for 4k/120 support. HDMI eARC sound bars and receivers go into HDMI 4, but this layout can be detrimental for setups with receivers that can do 4k/120 as the eARC port is only 4k/60 capable. The big thing I noticed during setup is that the picture has a very, very strong cool bias and overdriven red tones. While adjusting color temperature helps (-3 to -5 warm), using 2-point color adjustment fixes the everything without needing a color adjustment tool like a Datacolor Spyder or Portrait Displays CalMan. If you want to do 20 point, you need one of these tools, and I’m glad that feature is at least there for those who need advanced picture calibration. As far as usage goes, this is a solid smart TV. Google TV’s interface is solid and the TCL tweaks are a nice touch; the input panel gives you direct access to specific apps as well as the inputs. Surfing antenna TV is a breeze and the ATSC 1.0 tuner means that you won’t get locked out of over-the-air broadcasts as long as they’re still in ATSC 1.0 format. (If you really want ATSC 3, you have options). The remote itself is a real highlight. While I would have loved to see it be rechargeable, the backlighting is bright enough to be useful without being annoyingly bright. The only real letdown is with the TV audio. For all the professional review sites that talked it up, I found it flat and bland. You’ll want a sound bar with this TV if audio quality matters. The surround effects with Dolby Atmos and DTS X were convincing, though far from amazing. For the price though, you can’t beat this TV. FALD, 4k/144 and 1080p/240, and a well thought-out backlit remote make this a winner.

Great for the money. Step up from 4 series. Not mini led like the 6 series, but brightness is still good for pretty bright room. Colors are a little saturated in some settings out of the box but can be adjusted. 4k hdr is great. Low res content is upscaled better than 4 series and Hisense u8h, but still not as good as the next step up in Sony. This may be the best TV in the price range.

Great picture quality. It did take some getting used to the remote control. It was different from the Samsung remote. Picture quality and sound are good. The discripttion said yes to ajustable stand in error. We are pleased with the TLC 55 inch

The picture was amazing and the google TV was so easy to use, I only gave it a 4 star because it didn’t want to work with my computer and even the screen kept shutting off while I was using my computer. I’m sure I just got a defective unit which happens but I ended up returning it to get an actual 4K gaming monitor with 144hz refresh rate for my computer. When I get the money saved up again though, I will upgrade my TV with this TV for sure!

The picture is great right out of the box for most viewers like myself. Beautiful picture and a great price and 2 year warranty. My TV was still good but wanted an upgrade to the QLED. Great service by Best Buy and delivery. I unboxed and sat up myself and was real simple. I just have the free channels for now and are great.

Absolutely love this TV! I was very bored with my previous tv (a 10 year old 43 inch tv) and was frustrated with its lack of smart capabilities. So it was time to upgrade. This Tv has an amazing display! My wife is not a movie/picture quality critic but eve she could tell how the colors pop off the screen! Its super easy to use, loads very quickly and makes me excited to watch more shows! I was even considering getting a spoundbar as well but it doesnt even need one

Works with PS5 well, my Xbox Series X has screen flicker in game mode. The operating system is weird sometimes. It’ll lag or push a button on remote and have a delayed response on the tv. Overall the picture is great the sound is good and checks all display options on PS5 and XSX for a mid TV can’t complain.

Great TV with picture quality being fantastic. Works well within the room it is in, no problem with reflective lighting so far. Use it for gaming from time to time, enjoying fast refresh rate and beautiful Dolby Atmos sound and Vision imaging. Very well made for the price.

This tv is incredible. I’m not a crazy tv person but man this is an awesome tv paired with my ps5. Let’s just see how well it holds up

Great television I got this one because my son knocked my LG over and broke it. I did some research on this TV and decided to get it. It is great for gaming is what I mostly use it for 120hz per second frame rate VVR does nice job with my PS5. Movies also look really good vivid colors and the sound is also nice and clear all in all great TV would recommend.

Excellent picture quality on my TCL Q7… comparable to the more expensive models of the mainstream brands. It’s super bright, crisp, and the controls and smart hub are super easy to navigate use. Great display! Great features. Happy customer.

I have had this TV for about six months now, and it has been nothing short of fantastic! It is a great bang for your buck if you are looking for a 120 Hz 4K TV for gaming and sports. It has ana amazing display when used with modern gaming consoles. Overall, I would highly recommend!

i bough a open box - the tv is really good and should be considered just incase if you are looking for one, the OTA picture is not that sharp so after a while you might get use to it, Watching some thing thru the Apps like Prime, HBO looks great. Even though this TV has a Bad rep for out of the box calibration some adjustment might be needed . I would not trust Best customer service - i bough the open box for excellent for 491.99 on a Saturday, Monday that price change to 429.99. Yes i know they dont match open box price item even thou i gave it a shout and to my luck they said we will refund you the difference with 24 to 48 hours after 14 days i got no refund and twice i check with the chat agent they said yes 24 to 48 hours you would get a refund. Well on the 14 day i packed the TV up and returned it. later on the day i checked they are now selling the same TV open box excellent condition for the one i returned in the same store 503.99 come on guy how many times has this TV been returned.

4 out 5, because of glare. It's not a killer, but definitely keep that in your consideration when purchasing a new TV. This one is excellent, and it's not as bad that I would return. You can't beat the price for QLED or MINI LED, but if you can afford it, or want to spend the $$ on the best picture and virtually no glare, go for an OLED..

Amazing tv for the price and 120hz. Runs games smoothly and was easy to setup. 4k movies look stunning on the qles display especially bright colored movies

Great refresh rate for console gaming, amazing picture quaility and the speakers are surprisingly loud.

Great TV, Love gaming on it. Google AI pops up randomly during gameplay sometimes but that’s an easy fix if you turn off the “listen for hey Google” setting. Sometimes TV turns off after inactivity and doesn’t turn back on unless you unplug the power source and plug it back on. All in all, still a great TV for the price.
