  • Pretty picture, NIGHTMARE service...I feel robbed.

    Without hesitation or exaggeration, this has been one of the worst shopping / customer experiences in my lifetime. I researched extensively and chose this TV, but I highly regret it. Only 2 weeks after I received the unit, stuck pixels started appearing when in Game Master mode. It seems that the TV is experiencing an issue processing the picture specifically when VRR mode is active. Game Master is the primary reason that I bought the model in the first place. Not only that, but these issues began 2 days after my ridiculous 15-day return window ended. It should be criminal that the respectable solution of a 30-day return is locked behind a paywall. I only have so much money, trusted the TCL brand and chose to transact with Best Buy. So now, I've been struggling with a warranty claim through TCL for almost a month. Almost a month. I've sent videos of the issue, I've sent photos of the issue. I've had phone calls, online chats and email conversations. But I'm still waiting, without any bit of clarity to what the timeline or possible solution could be. At this point, TCL or Best Buy COULD fix or replace my TV. But they seemingly aren't interested and they can never make good for the time in my life that I've lost on this or the stress that I've endured while dealing with this nightmare.

    As usual, I was impressed with the service I received from best buy. Bob, I believe he said his name was, spent a reasonable amount of time with me as I tried to determine the advantages of buying the Google TV. He seemed very knowledgeable about this an other TV’s and was not overbearing which won the day with me! So far, my wife and I have been very pleased with the results of my encounter with Bob.
