Overall very satisfied, this is a purchase I am happy I made; especially when considering the price. The picture quality is great and it works extremely well for the Xbox Series X.

Wasn't aware of this brand. Had to get a new big screen tv. After reading reviews decided to give it a shot. Everything about it screams quality! The price was THE added bonus.

I wanted to start out and say I am not a professional TV reviewer. However, given that this TV has very limited reviews and press, I wanted to talk about it and share my opinions. Here are some of my thoughts and I'm open to answering any questions that you guys may have. Picture Quality Right off the bat I have to say the picture quality of this TV is outstanding. TCL has come a long way with their processing and panels. Despite the lack of mini LED, this TV is incredibly bright and has awesome HDR performance. I don't have a way to measure it, but it easily meets it's 1,000 nit rating and is significantly brighter than most QLED TVs I've seen. Black levels are really good too. If an OLED is a 10 out of 10, this TV is easily a 9.5 out of 10. It's not perfect blacks but it is close. HDR highlights are very well pronounced and O see minimal halo effect when there is white over black. I doubt anyone would be disappointed using this in a bright room and it is almost too bright for a dim room unless you turn the brightness down to about 50%. Processing and Upscaling Upscaling performance is dramatically improved this year compared to older TCL TVs. I do not think this is as good as the Sony XR processor, but it's getting pretty close and is definitely making Sony and other mainstream brands feel a bit overpriced. This TV is able to turn HD content to 4K pretty effectively. I did notice a slight soap opera effect with some movies and I'm still trying to tweak the settings. I am disappointed that Dolby vision forces motion processing and you cannot disable the soap opera effect that it is causing in some content. Operating System TCL has really come a long way with their Android implementation on their TVs. Previous versions have been absolutely terrible, filled with performance issues and bugs. In my week with the TV I have experienced almost zero bugs and it is a very fluid experience. The only major issue I have had so far is moonlight drops connection for some reason potentially a memory leak but I am not sure yet and still trying to figure it out. Compared to Roku Android TV is a huge upgrade. It runs very well. The biggest negative is when you first take the TV out of your box. You are looking at about an hour of updates and downloads before you can use the TV. Always disappointing to get a brand new TV and have to wait so long for it to update and download it's initial apps. Sound Previous TCL TVs have had pretty terrible speakers in my experience. The ones on the q7 are passable. Not amazing speakers but definitely serviceable. And if you don't have room for a sound bar I think they are fine. Build Quality The TV does have pretty weak build quality. The back panel feels like cheap plastic. From the front it looks very nice. Value I paid $600 for mine and I have to say this is easily one of the best values on the market today. None of the mainstream brand TVs come close to the performance this TV offers at $600 Compared to 2022's 6 series Compared to last year's model the 646, I actually found the q7 to be brighter and have better processing. This was surprising because the 646 has mini LED but the q7 doesn't seem to be held back by its omission. Drawbacks I honestly struggled to find negatives with this TV at the price point it's at. It's definitely not an OLED, but it's also not priced anywhere near one. Motion processing does need to be improved. It has the tendency to create the soap opera effect more than other TVs I've used. You cannot use game mode outside of the inputs on the TV. Moonlight running directly on the TV cannot be put into game mode. I wish there was a more neutral picture mode. Movie mode is close but a little bit warm for me. There isn't a good way to disable Dolby vision. While most content looks best in Dolby vision, I wish I could disable it by choice. Not a huge deal but some content looks better without it. The setup process takes over an hour I hope this was helpful for prospective buyers. Overall I will say this is a great TV and easily worth the $600 they are asking for it.

I originally purchased the Samsung Q60 since it was on sale for Black Friday. My Hisense QLED from a few years ago developed some sick screen burn. My hope was to get an upgrade or at least equal value to that TV. After a week with the Samsung and doing more research, including reviews, I returned it for the TCL. I was worried since I figured Samsung is the best, and perhaps they are in some areas. I am so glad I got this TV so far. After some calibration, the picture is amazing! For the value, it’s an excellent choice and I would recommend it for sure. I certainly like the picture more than the Samsung. Features are easy to use and the remote has a backlight which is pretty dope. Don’t sleep on this one!

Glad I purchased this TV. I was really looking for a Sony, because they use Android TV. I ended up purchasing this TCL instead. The picture is fantastic. The Android TV / Google TV it's so easy to use, and allows customization much more than other operating systems out there. Everyone comments on how great the picture is on this television. For the price, it can't be beat. The speakers do the job just fine, if you don't have a soundbar or some other sound system.

Excellent TV for $499. The picture quality is great. Streaming works well. 55” is the perfect size for our living room. The 120 hz refresh rate is great for watching sports. Even though it’s not an advertised brand name, it has the same features others do at 2-3 times the price.

This is hands down one of the best TVs I’ve ever purchased and I’ve had my fair share. It looks amazing out of the box, but hook up a nice (8K 60 Hz and 4K 120 HZ HDMI cable) and it truly comes to life. If you have a next gen console, you can’t get much better at such a low price point. That said, there is one issue. For some reason, even though the TV is “sleeping” it will not turn back on even if I try it with my soundbar or ps5. I have to unplug and plug it back in immediately and everything works just fine. This a known issue which you can easily research for yourself. It’s a minor issue for me so I would recommend this TV.

The TCL QLED is a very hood tv! Its bright, has good color depth, even in blacks, which QLEDs arent known for. Setup is super easy and i love the remote. When it senses your hand the buttons light up. The picture is fantastic. Tge only issue I found is in the HDMI inputs and their respective refresh rates. I have an extremely powerful pc that can push upwards of 200 frames even on high demand games. So i use hdmi port 1 thats supposed to do 144hz. With vsync off i get screen tearing which means the tv cannot keep up. Thats my only gripe. Considering its not an oled, the price and performance are spectacular for $599.

I am ecstatic over my new TCL 55" Class Q7 Q TV. I had never heard of TCL before and was prepared to buy another brand, but my kids told me about it and I'm glad I checked it out. The picture is so much clearer and brighter than the other brand of TV that I have, and I found it a superb value over other similar products. This is definitely a top-notch TV and I would recommend it highly.

For about 1/2 the price, my 55" TCL Q-Class QLED gives me all of the features I need and a picture that I feel is equal to or better than many of the "leading" brands I considered.... It's all about value to me.

The picture is great right out of the box for most viewers like myself. Beautiful picture and a great price and 2 year warranty. My TV was still good but wanted an upgrade to the QLED. Great service by Best Buy and delivery. I unboxed and sat up myself and was real simple. I just have the free channels for now and are great.

I have had this TV for about six months now, and it has been nothing short of fantastic! It is a great bang for your buck if you are looking for a 120 Hz 4K TV for gaming and sports. It has ana amazing display when used with modern gaming consoles. Overall, I would highly recommend!

4 out 5, because of glare. It's not a killer, but definitely keep that in your consideration when purchasing a new TV. This one is excellent, and it's not as bad that I would return. You can't beat the price for QLED or MINI LED, but if you can afford it, or want to spend the $$ on the best picture and virtually no glare, go for an OLED..

Other reviews were right, this TV is awesome! 2 months after I bought this TV and I’m still satisfied with its performance. I am an average user and I can’t describe it using technical terms, but this TCL Q7 has the best value to its price. I bought the 55inches by the way.

Most excellent 4k 120Hz TV that you can buy, I recommend this QLED TV to anyone wanting to upgrade their set for an affordable price!
