    Best don't buy

    TV stopped working after 3 weeks and Best buy said they couldn't help because it was more than 14 days. We purchased a 5 year geek squad warranty plan that clearly states that it begins on the day of purchase but Best buy made us go through the manufacturer to get a replacement. It was a huge hassle and took over 2 weeks. We had no TV for the Superbowl. The best part is that Best buy is who delivered the new TV for the manufacturer. Also, got stuck with a broken TV that I had to pay 30 bucks to get rid of at the local dump. Will not be spending my money with Best buy ever again. They are a horrible company with even worse customer service.

    Wouldn't recommend if pairing with PC

    I wouldn't recommend this TV if you're primarily going to be using it with a PC like I do. I bought this TV instead of $200 cheaper models specifically because it was advertised to support 4k 120hz. The maximum I've found it to support with my PC is 1440p 120hz. Further, it has real issues with dual screen set up. My PC is connected to a monitor and this TV. For some reason games won't play on my TV at 1440p without my monitor also being on. If I turn the monitor off in the settings the TV can only run 120 hz at 1080p. Anytime I want to switch from the TV to the monitor without having the monitor on I have to go into NVIDA's Control Panel and turn the one I'm not using off. I've used this same PC with 2 other TVs and never had this issue.

    Wouldn’t recommend had this tv for just over a year and it needs to be restarted everyday. Actual unplug and restart.

    Bought with the impression of having very good for series 6 and 8 but got very bad on this series 7. Ofcourse TV was cheaper than market but my $300 and 5 year old Samsung led tv gives me more good and proper picture quality.

    TV purchase

    I was not happy with this TV. At times I thought it was blurry. It would get louder sometimes when changing stations. I decided to return it and replace with a Samsung. I went to the Georgetown, Texas store and had a hard time with the return. They also would not haul away the original 55" TV from before the TCL. I called the Round Rock Store and the sales person was so nice and took care of the replacement, setup and haul away. He made me feel like he cared about my what I was saying.

    It's a good starter TV but not the best

    I was hoping to love this TV however the picture quality is not close to my Sony TV. I was told this was one of the best quality. I might return and get a Sony

    Came out of the box broken!!

    Bought this TV, took it home set it up on my wall and found out that the soeakers were broken right out of the box! I tried everything to get them to work, including a factory reset. I called the TCL customer support number and it doesnt even ring just hangs up! Took it back to Best Buy and told one of the workers first thing he said to me was “im not surprised, we see a lot of people returning their TCL tv’s within a year of their purchase date. I’d highly recommend not buying anythinf from this company! I was told to stick with Sony or LG if you want reliability and the least returned brands overtime! I’ll never consider any from TCL ever again.

    Running 120 hz with apple tv box ?

    I bought new tcl tv 120 hz and new hdmi 48 gpbs , new apple tv 4k ( 3 gene ). Not get running 120 hz. Locked hdr x10 60 hz. Open how get running 120 hz

    Screen was damanged right out of the box

    Was so excited about this but right when I took it out i noticed dead pixels. I read some horror stories about TLC but right out of the box?

    Only one audio output

    Quality TV but only allows one audio output. I wear hearing aids and use a transmitter connected through the optical port to listen to tv. On this set you can only activate the sound bar or the optical port, not both. So now I cannot watch tv with anyone. There was nothing about this in any of the literature that I read so did not discover it until I set everything up. Threw the packing away so I can’t return it either. My old TCL worked fine. Don’t know why they changed it. Expensive lesson.

    Glitchy apps, turns on by itself

    TV started out great, but after a few months it started turning on by itself. The worst is when you’re sleeping and it turns on, full brightness. Problem is intermittent. Tech support makes you do a factory reset, just for it to start acting up again a few weeks later. TCL closes your ticket within days, and you have to start all over again. I own 2 TCL tvs, both have the same issue. Additionally, the apps like Netflix, paramount, etc.. get glitchy and don’t load properly. Only way to fix is go through the menu and restart the tv. Will never buy TCL again

    Decent OS but poor TV for watching sports due to tons of motion blur. No amount of working the settings seems to fix it.

    Do not buy this, I’ve had so many issues, it doesn’t work properly with Apple TV device and it sometimes jumps to Netflix in the middle of watching a show, again I do not recommend this tv
