Great price and picture quality. Very impressed with the 120 hz. The audio quality though is not the best. I will be getting a soundbar.

I spent a lot of time researching TV's before landing on this one. Short verdict; the TCL Q7 has amazing contrast, more than decent colors (after minimal adjustments to settings), and fast response times for gaming and watching sports. It's the best TV you will find under $1,000. With that price tag, however, there is going to be some compromises. TCL's website states there are "up to 200 dimming zones." Keep in mind, that would be for the larger 75" TV. The 55" and 65" will have approximately 120 and 150 dimming zones respectively. That said, you are still getting near perfect blacks in most scenes (even with the 55"). TCL also claims this TV can reach 1,000 nits of brightness. However, testing shows the Q7 lands more between 700-800 nits. For context, that is still plenty bright: the average brightness for TV's is around 400-500 nits. But, it still falls a little short from what TCL is advertising. It has also been reported that the colors on the TCL Q7 are not particularly great without adjusting settings (my TV in particular had a noticible red-tint to it). However, this can be corrected fairly easily. I spent only about 10 minutes to get the colors correct on my particular unit. The only big issue I found was regarding Variable Refresh Rate for gaming. Activating VRR on my PS5 created odd stuttering and flickering which made for an awful viewing experience. Whatever process TCL is using for VRR is just not working currently. Hopefully, they will find a way to fix this in the future. For now, turning off the setting corrected the issue - no problem. Audio on the TCL Q7 is fine for the average consumer but nothing amazing for the enthusiast. There is an audio preset specifically designed to make dialogue more audible. Besides that, the speakers are very average compared to any other TV. Adjusting the EQ settings will help slightly. But if audio is very important to you, I would advise buying a soundbar. All that said, TCL has priced their TV's *very* competitively. The Q7 55" is priced at $550 on sale (non-sale price is $750). The 65" and 75" are priced at $699 (normally $999) and $999 (non-sale price $1,399) respectively. Even at their non-sale prices, you will be hard-pressed to find a better TV at this price point. All in all, I give the TCL Q7 series 5/5 stars when taking into consideration the price. I hope this all helps.

As a tv it is flawless, work great with consoles. Can work with pc but you are going to have to disable vrr also download cru and change hdmi from 48gb to 40 other wise the screen will lose sync and black out for a second pretty regularly. The picture is really nice not to sharp but not super smooth. Overall it a good tv finally found one that can actually be a tv and pc monitor and the 144hz is a nice touch got to update firmware by the way other wise you won't have the 144hz with out vrr honestly vrr is great on console only in my opinion

Screen burn was a concern so I didn’t want to go OLED and I’m a big gamer so I wanted the refresh rate First time I played a movie for my son my wife was like ok I’m impressed the I turned on the ps5 and she looked at me and said I nailed the choice This is now our second QLED and I’m a fan for life it’s like watching events almost in person This isn’t a “for the money” buy this is a quality purchase I don’t see the benefit in paying more when I compare pictures TCL repeatedly delivers

Picture is vivid, no blurring during motion...this TV turns out to be quite excellent, especially considering the price. I catch myself seeing something new and thinking, 'wow. this tv' in all seriousness.

Great television for the price. Loved the Roku OS on older TCLs. Google OS is different, but has more features. Not a bad learning curve. Great order prep and help loading the car from the store staff.

Tv is of excellent quality. Amazing for the price. Sharp picture and the perfect refresh rate for gaming. Decent speaker quality too. Easy setup

Great picture and i can run 144hz on my pc. Came with a burnt pixel on hat comes and goes. This is the 3rd tcl with a burnt pixel

This is my 3rd TCL TV and I could not be more happier. These TV's keep getting better and better! Colors are crazy beautiful as are the deep blacks. Soooo glad I bought this instead of LG (saved a ton). Picture looks just as good. Totally recommend. Oh! and their customer service is just as great. Helped me with an issue that wasn't even theirs. Highly recommend.

Love everything about this unit. No problems in the two years of ownership. If your use to 5.1 surround you know what to do.

The amount of TV for the money may be unbeatable. A little slow on input sensing/switching, and a little buggy with the ARC response. But the picture is clear and bright, HDR looks great with Dolby Vision from Xbox...all from a QLED at 1/4 the price of most others, but has 100% of the features!

Got this tv for games on my Xbox Series X, great pictures runs games at 120hrz 4k, Has been a good tv so far

This tv is great. But i think they should advertise it more for gamers than anything. The picture is really good not great the sound is really good as well. These things alone do make this tv worth the price. But the features it has for gaming is the stand out. On my xbox series x the tv feels fantastic on a wireless controller. Really no latency with the 120 hertz mode. Plus amd freesync. If you wanted to you could set this up on a pc set up and have a blast. If ur on the ps5 or xbox series consoles this tv is a fantastic choice

Decent TV for the price. For a QLED TV the colors are not as vibrant as the QLED from Hisense or even Vizio if you are comparing similar budget TVs. Bought this for the 120HZ refresh rate. So far no lagging on PS5 ganes.

I like the 55 inch size and physical build quality. It supports dolby vision and IMAX. The Smart TV features are functional. Video processing on this model is terrible. I've spent an exhaustive week attempting to calibrate this panel using every setting available and almost every variation. No matter the settings, the results are the same. Noise, macro blocking, inaccurate colors, pixel lag and overall picture degradation. I have this TV connected to my Apple TV 4k, high quality HDMI 2.1 cable connected to my Denon X3500H AVR. Based on the reviews I've read here on this site and YouTube reviewers this should be one of those hidden low cost gems. Its not even close. I feel like I "fell for it again" and threw away 600.00 I'm seeing this weird trend lately. Two types of products are sold...Barely Acceptable and Phenomenal. Where Phenomenal = very high cost, Barely Acceptable = No one wants. There is no middle tier anymore. So either purchase a 600.00 TCL or a 1500.00 OLED.

We received a great upgrade to the Insignia Fire TV we had. The picture is lovely! The operating system is very intuitive, and the speakers are loud enough we don't always need to turn on the sound bar. It was a learning curve coming from Amazon to Google, but we like it. We are pleased!
