TV broke down after a month of use. Customer service is horrible, I have provided all of the information requested and they are refusing to dispatch repair or send a replacement. It's been a nightmare. Stay away from this manufacturer. They might be cheap, and you are getting what you pay for.

Would except something similar

Everything works as of yet, but had to take this same back to the store, but as the one I took back and the replacement unit you cannot get the settings to work, it comes up as not connected to the internet, obviously it is connected to the internet. Then as I was hoping to get service, they said they were going to get back to me. I do not want the same SKU, 2 units not working correctly, that’s enough. As of today no one has gotten back to me.
One of the reasons I bought a TCL is because it has legs that fits on my semi antique oak tv cart.

Didn't have a power cord

Bought this as an "open box" in "excellent" condition. No instruction manual and worse yet... Did not include a power cord. Live out of town and by the time I got home it was too late to go back. Had to order one online and wait several days to hook my tv up.
Will never buy Best Buy open box again. Somebody should ha e checked this first and clearly they didnt.

Owned the TV for 8 days and it already broke. TV screen went black and it won’t turn on. Luckily it was within the two week window. Buyer beware.

Started HAvoong Problems After Warranty Period

Purchase the TCL 55R635 in March 2020. TV had issues with freezing and rebooting on it's own. After 3 years of playing with rests/factory resets/power on resets, the TV is now a brick. Unless you get a 5 year warranty for this TV, stay away!

In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage.
