    So I got this TV on Christmas Eve's Sale specifically for gaming. I've been looking up left and right and googling which settings needs enabling and disabling, but it's all been in vain. I'm stuck at 60 fps on every game and can't, for the life of me, get the frames to 120. (I game on PS5) I'm wondering if I might've bought a defective/faulty unit cause I'm also missing a couple of settings from videos I've watched. Please Geek Squad and Techs, help!

    I’m not having a very fun experience with mine due to always having to change the tv settings every time I turn this tv on. The specs are misleading as well because on the tv itself it says the hdmi supports 4k 120hz but the manual it came with says the specs are lower.

    Random Restarts and Power-Offs

    The picture itself looked great (to me) for the price range. Within a couple of weeks the screen froze: there was still audio for a few seconds, then the TV restarted itself. I thought maybe it needed firmware updates, but it was already up to date, and it’s done it four more times since (five times in less than two months). Earlier this week it powered itself off completely. Overheating isn’t the issue - in at least three of the instances the TV had been on less than an hour. Odd connections aren’t the issue - in the first few instances it only had HDMI and Optical Audio, the most recent incidents it had HDMI ARC only. I’m returning it for a more reputable brand.

    Refresh rate sucks

    This refresh rate/motion capabilities on this TV are abysmal. I bought a plasma the last year they were made, in 2014, and I loved that TV so much. Flawless picture, beautiful color production, and 600Hz refresh rate...absolutely wonderful for video games and sports. This TV is supposedly 120Hz with technology built in to simulate 240-480Hz. I assure you it works like crap. Anything that moves quickly across the screen, you can see a trail that follows the image. It's so obnoxious, it ruins watching anything with quick motion. We did try a video game and it looked okay, but football has looked terrible. If someone waves their hand or runs quickly, you see the trail. Anyone who isn't complaining about this TV must have already gotten used to the terrible refresh rates of LED TVs. I can't stand it. My plasma made it nearly 11yrs before the panel went out. I am devastated by the loss :(

    Initially I liked the TV but I had to return two of them because of a buzzing noise. The picture gets pretty bright and it has a high contrast screen. Blacks are good for a non OLED TV. However it doesn't scale low bit rate content real well and cable TV can look good one moment and horrible the next. Gaming was excellent however.

    You Can Probably do better

    Picture is great for the price point, good TCL interface, nice remote, but... Less than 5 months into ownership, the tv developed a permanent vertical red line across the screen. Pretty obnoxious and not worth the effort of a manufacturer warranty but I suspect it will get worse and have a pretty limited life. The lack of a sleep timer is pretty obnoxious.

    Returning the item because it has bad motion issues. Processor doesnt seem to be able to handle 120hz and the motion interpolation looks awful. Fast moving object look bad. Still images look great and the tv gets super bright which i love, but if im paying extra for a tv I don’t want something that is going to have motion problems.

    Horrible motion Unwatchable for movies. The picture and black levels are great, but with any kind of motion the tv acts horrible wierd blogs everywhere artifacts. if tcl would have put more effort into motion this would have been a 5 star tv. oh well

    Bought it about 8 months ago and loved it. Lately it freezes all the time goes conoletely unresponsive and have to restart it. Tried all the IT tricks and ir still just siezes up.

    Was not impressed on picture quality for it being a full-array screen. Screen also reflects too much light. Needed to watch in dark room most of the time. Was disappointed that I could not download the SpectrumTV app. I exchanged it for a Roku Full-Array TV which has much better picture quality and an amazing sound for its price point.

    I was not happy with this TV. At times I thought it was blurry. It would get louder sometimes when changing stations. I decided to return it and replace with a Samsung. I went to the Georgetown, Texas store and had a hard time with the return. They also would not haul away the original 55" TV from before the TCL. I called the Round Rock Store and the sales person was so nice and took care of the replacement, setup and haul away. He made me feel like he cared about my what I was saying.

    Do not buy this, I’ve had so many issues, it doesn’t work properly with Apple TV device and it sometimes jumps to Netflix in the middle of watching a show, again I do not recommend this tv

    Very hard to us isnt compatible to directv streaming it lags alot got their new gemini we get a beautiful picture now saying tv doesnt support hdr. What the heck best buy no help and forget directv.

    This tv has very bad color. And sometimes when its on a bright white scene the white is blurry and I can't make out what I'm looking at.

    Picture quality is not what I expected. Don’t like the Google remote nearly as much as the Roku they had in previous models. Wish I would have Spent a little more to get a clearer picture.
