Smart tv 55 inch with google tv have a nice looking , easy set up , the view of the screen for the price is a perfect mach ideal for any room nice speaker set up and ideal for wach 4k kobivies or series on netflix .

This tv is replacing my older tcl 55” from about 4 years ago. I’m replacing that one because it was a floor model and just gave up one day. Now onto this one. This tcl qm5k is pretty new to the market from what I can gather. The image quality is night and day compared to my old tcl led tv. You can see the picture better from sharper angles now, I'm assuming that’s from the mini led screen. The sound quality is great and rarely do I go above 12. All in all for the price I paid ($329.99) it can’t be beat at all

I didn't even get this on sale, but I'm not complaining. It was worth every penny, and then some. People are rather stingy in their opinions of the quality of this TV, although that may be a sign of how good TVs have become. I've owned pretty much everything except OLEDs, including a $2,700 plasma (all 36" of it, whoo hoo) and I am just so impressed by the color saturation and detail of this TV. Just phenomenal. Even old black and white noir movies are more fun to watch. And although most people will get at least a soundbar with this, the sound can be adjusted to be pretty darn good, except for bass of course. Also, I didn't wind up adjusting my set to "movie" as I've previously done, and as recommended by internet reviewers for this TV. I just used the standard setting and bumped up the warmth a couple of notches. Of course, that's just me. Only complaint is the bluetooth connection keeps having to be reset for the remote, but that's a small thing. Pretty impressive for someone whose first TV was a 17" black and white round Philco.

I purchased this 55" TCL QM5K from Best Buy as a gift for my mother-in-law, who was coming from an aging 55" Samsung 4K TV from around 2011. The difference was immediately noticeable. She is not a tech person at all, so ease of use was important. Google TV is simple, responsive, and easy for her to navigate without needing constant help. Picture quality is a big step up, with better brightness, contrast, and color compared to her old TV. The Mini-LED backlighting really helps, especially in everyday viewing. I also appreciate that even as an entry-level Mini-LED TV, the QM5K includes decent 2.1 channel audio. It is a noticeable improvement over the nearly 15-year-old 2.0 channel speakers in her old Samsung, and more than adequate for casual TV watching without needing a soundbar right away. Overall, this was a great value upgrade and a perfect choice for someone who wants modern TV features, better picture and sound, without needing to be tech savvy. Very happy with this purchase.

We like our TCL tv. Good picture and sound. Geek Squad did a good job with set up and explaination of use. Customer service not so much. Cut us off a total of 7 times. Can't speak to anybody in the local store, unless you get in the car and drive there. Even after doing that we were told they can't get in touch with customer service. They would have to go on a chat to discuss problem. I'll give the product 5 stars, but customer service doesn't deserve even a one.

Positive Aspects: The picture quality is great with excellent contrast. Areas for Improvement: The viewing angle is limited, causing the color to wash out when viewed from certain angles. It requires a Google account to add an app, which might be inconvenient for some users.

DO NOT SLEEP ON MINI-LED! I would say the jump from LCD to Mini-LED is similar to your first jump from SD to Full HD (or Full HD to 4K!). The picture is so clear and responsive, and the sound is incredible! This was the first TV I've bought since 2019 and I am so glad I decided to upgrade now! It feels like a steal! I also wanted to mention that the Google TV OS has come a long way; its a much better experience than it was a few years ago. It's so fast and the settings / options for picture & sound are impressive.

When you find a top-tier Mini-LED TV on sale, you’re getting near-OLED levels of contrast, crazy high HDR peak brightness, thousands of dimming zones, and ultra-responsive gaming features (4K/60 + HDMI 2.1). Color accuracy, motion handling, and build quality are excellent. Yes, they cost more than regular LED sets—but in discounted form, they’re the sweet spot: excellent picture, great performance, and you feel you got your money’s worth.

No issues so far. I was upgrading a 20 year old tv so honestly anything would have been an upgrade. The blacks are crisp, colors pop, but it doesnt have that uncanny valley effect. Got a great deal and would happily tell past me to make the same purchase. I can see details in Hereditary. I can hear dialogue rewatching content that I coudldnt pick up on before. Set up was easy.

I had a fire TV and was looking to upgrade to qhd and when I saw how vibrant this TCL was opposed to fire TV qhd I made my decision. The TCL was more vibrant better operating system sound was clearer and surprisingly loud because of its 2 subs in the back and has a 240hz frame rate with gaming mode TCL will be my budget brand of choice from now on

Unfortunately the screen had lines from a possible drop or bump, but Best Buy made the fix right away with no issues on the return. There was TCL rep on site the day I made my purchase he was not pushy and very knowledgeable about his products as well as the other brands I was considering, so much so that I did not realize that he had a TCL shirt and was a rep until I was paying. The TV is great I have a LG OLED (2021) and the picture quality is far superior and for the price it’s unbeatable.

The mini-LED with 300 local dimming zones gives a better contrast, blacker blacks and images than the Q-LED TVs. At this price it's a great deal. It's a bit stripped down from the QM6/7/8 but serves its purpose very well. Out of the box the picture was way too bright and too much contrast, most of this can be fixed by simple choosing "movie" mode. There are good guides out there on Rtngs.com for good settings. I like the Google OS, its snappy and has a lot of options w/o being too busy (like on LG). Sound quality is mediocre like most thin TVs. Good enough to get by, but for movies recommend a sound bar connected to its eARC port.

I've always been a fan of Sony and have always had these TVs. They just come out with too many new TVs too often and its not worth paying the price when other TVs are still quality. You would only be able to tell the difference if you had these TVs side by side and if then, maybe only for certain viewing types. This is a great TV for the price and has incredible picture quality. The sound quality was also great. This TV will only be in a guest room so will serve its purpose greatly!

Great picture and easy to set up! We also enjoy all the applications that are included in this TV.

This tv are wonderful I love the color the remote and the sound i have no complain 10/10
