This replaced a 12 year old TCL 48" TV (which is still going strong as a PC monitor), and all I can say is "wow!" I read a lot of reviews before buying, and the few complaints I kept seeing appear to be overblown. The viewing angles are fine - I don't see much change before the picture moves out of view - and the screen reflections are easily handled as long as you're not watching in direct sunlight. I followed the Rtings SDR picture adjustments to start, with a few minor tweaks, and left the HDR settings stock. We're using a Fire TV 4K stick as the primary source, so haven't messed with the Google TV settings much, but startup and responsiveness are fine. Also, the stock speakers are perfectly adequate, and capable of plenty of volume. I'm sure we could get more bass from a dedicated subwoofer and soundbar, but action movies and shows are perfectly watchable as-is, and there's plenty of adjustment for dialogue. Very happy with this purchase, and hope it lasts as long as it's predecessor.

I upgraded from a much cheaper tv that I bought years ago and this was a huge upgrade for me. The image looks so sharp and clear, with amazing colors. The built in sound works great and was more than enough for me to be satisfied. I’m extremely happy that it comes with google tv built in as well as it makes the tv experience smooth as butter.

This is one of the best purchases I've made at Best Buy! This TV punches way above its class. The color and clarity are just absolutely incredible. I highly recommend this TV!

Beautiful picture and quality for the price. Easy set up

This has been a fantastic upgrade from a normal UHD tv. I’ve had it almost 2 months now with zero issues and I am amazed at the features, picture quality and the sound quality. Would highly reccomend.

This TV has been the best TV I’ve purchased. I am able to watch TV with the window open and I don’t get bothered with any kind of glare or reflection. The speakers are also amazing, and I never need to put my TV above a volume of 10. Definitely exceeded my expectations and I would buy it again.

I use this tv in the family room for gaming and movie nights. Good picture, and great sound out of the tv speakers.

I use this TV primarily for gaming, sports and 4K media streaming. The games are displayed with crisp precision and appear as the developers intended. Fast motion in sports is also displayed in great detail with no blur. However, the TV picture is at its best when displaying 4K content as it appears so life like and with great detail. The black levels and contrast are also great as there are over 1500 separate dimming zones the TV processor can use to refine contrast across the panel.

This TV is outstanding. I had never heard of TCL before, but my research told me it was a good product. The picture is crisp, the sound is great even though I don't utilize a sound bar, etc. Installation has been a breeze, even as I set it up for Google TV rather than regular. I am still exploring all its features.

I love the 120hz refresh rate over anything and this tv surprised me for the price you can’t beat it. This tv made me like playing video games again for long period of time. Sound is always an issue on most modern TVs I’ve own and that’s the only negative I can say for this tv. Highly recommend

This is a fantastic TV. A lot of customizations, 3 different tiers of HDMI capabilities, amazing sound and picture. I bought it for around $526 after tax, and I'm pretty happy overall. I came down from a 75' so that's maybe the only thing i regret.. would have gotten the 65' instead

Good for the money! The local dimming isn’t as powerful on more expensive TVs but otherwise nice

I am very impressed by the brightness, contrast and color accuracy of this TV right out of the box. I am similarly impressed by google TV, though it does make image display settings a bit too difficult to mavigate for my taste. Still, you can do what you want to the image, so it is a minor quibble.

Always had good luck with tcl tvs. Picture, price, and value. What more could you ask for. Great upgrade from our last tv. Great tv for price. Would recommend to anyone looking for a tv.

Epic viewing. I finally have the clarity I have been long looking for. I did have to master reset it once when trying to activate apps. But that only took a second and then everything worked. I knocked down the sound quality but it really doesn't matter if you have a soundbar.

my old tv broke down and got this one coming from a 2020 model to a 2024 is night and day the colors pop and dark levels are amazing best tv for the price hands down.

Great all around. Stunningly crisp quality images. Color range as well as lights and darks are remarkable. The google tv operating system is much better than earlier versions. Happy with my purchase and would recommend to friends and family.

This was a huge upgrade from my last TV. Overall it’s a 4.5 at the moment. Sometimes, the TV is kind of slow loading up to the main screen. However, picture is great. I’m able to see the picture and subtitles from the side. Remote is easy to use. I looked up calibration settings on YouTube because the picture looks too reddish on the default settings. It was a good purchase for $500.
