But, watch out for tv sound not working if you leave TV off for more than a day or two. (E.g. You go on vacation or out of town on business.) You'll need to fiddle with settings under Power area ... not sound area.

High hopes dashed by poor image quality.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.From some.of the early reviews I went into this with high hopes, but sadly was left feeling underwhelmed. Build quality: While mostly plastic the few metal pieces along the bezels made for a premium look from the front of the display. Picture Quality: Center of the display from about 6-8ft image quality is initially impressive, but both vertical and horizontal off angle viewing causes the image to wssh out. It may also be my unit, but during widescreen HDR viewing the black bars are bright gray and no matter the setting they cant be fixed. When HDR ia turned off black bars appear slightly darker, but aren't black as intended. Colors also appear overly orange causing people to appear orange and skin tones make them look bruised with the shaded transitions going from orange to almost purple. Motion: As far as I know this is a VA panel, but definitely feels like a lower performing tier that has severe overdrive applied to reach the advertised specs (120@4k/144@1440p. I may have simply picked a bad unit, but there was considerable black smearing, some white and red smearing as well. Gaming: All the above complaints make this hard to review, while the gaming hun offered quick access to gaming features the motion performance and overly bright backlight issues made games like the Deadspace remake, The Quarry and Alan Wake 2 blurry smearing messes. No matter what adjustments I made it would not help the image quality. Sound: It offers 2.1 channel audio system with two forward facing speakers and a small sub-woofer mounted near the top center of the back panel. Dialogue was hard to make out and the rumble caused a distracting vibration. This was truly one of the most disappointing tv purchases I've made. A s mentioned it could simply have been my unit, but its something to watch out for.
