    Overall, a good tv. When looking at a range of TVs at Best Buy, TCL isn’t the brightest, clearest, or best sounding. But it is fine for my purposes, watching occasionally. And the price was good.

    I am blown away by how horrible this TV is. This is my first TCL and will ultimately be my last. Setup and install went easy. My problems are with the picture and the refresh rate. Out of the box, the color of the picture was off. Watching any sports program, where you know what color the teams are, highlighted its deficiency. After watching some videos, trying to adjust all of the settings myself, still can’t get it right. Then there is the refresh rate. When watching sports, as the ball or the puck move around, the TV cannot keep up and the ball/puck has a blurry “tail” following it. Between Standard, Performance, and every combination possible under Motion Clarity, the blurry ball remains. I own multiple other TVs from different brands and have never experienced this. I shouldn’t have to set a TV up and fine tune it when all my other TVs, from high-end to cheap-o models work great out the box. I missed my return window so now I am stuck with it.
