Bought this TV expecting average to standard 4k display being a budget TV. Was actually impressed with the quality and overall experience. My main use is general tv streaming and gaming(not intense gaming just average gaming on nintendo switch)
PROs: Very minimal input delay for gaming, google tv out the box which works with my google ecosystem, amazing picture quality (dare I say it rivals my LG c3 tv, with adjustments) Multiple HDMI ports, with a dedicated eArc port for sound bars thats not in place of an HDMI 2.1 port.
CONs: not impressed with the sound of the tv, thankfully I dont use it at volumes passed 20 being a bedroom tv (by no means is the sound bad it just starts to crackle passed a certain point) If you planning to use this TV in a dark room, the TV can be very bright even at the lowest dimmed settings.
Conclusion: Really great TV, excellent fratures and overall really impressed with TCL's quality.

My Review Of The TCL 55 Inch QM7K Smart TV

Great color, though when viewed from the side, the color is considerably washed out. However, I don't really care about that, as I view this TV almost exclusively from the front, straight on.
The picture is also very bright. And the WiFi reception seems to be very very solid.

I have to admit, I didn't think the TCL QM7K was going to blow me away, but it did. I had to do a little creative work with the wall mount after removing my previous TCL. The woofers on the top of the rear were interfering with the vertical bars.
After we navigated that, setup was a breeze and the picture quality was unbelievable. Streaming 4K HDR all day,
Only thing that hung me up was the remote does not function as an IR blaster for Google TV, so I couldn't control my older sound bar. Oh nooo, I had to go buy an HDMI-CEC compatible Atmos system!!

The picture is bright. Deep blacks. Nice color. Sound is not very loud, must turn volume way up to hear it, although it's pretty good for a TV. Glare is better than our old TV, but still a problem. Previous TV was 42". On low resolution sources the macro-blocking is noticeable (sub-channels on our cable service). Part of this is going to be 70% more picture with no increase in source resolution.
All in all, we are pretty satisfied with our purchase. Picture-wise, it is a significant upgrade over our previous TV.

55" TCL Review

I wanted a larger smart TV to replace my old 42" Vizio and I found this TCL at Best Buy. It had very good ratings and fit my budget.
I found it difficult to assemble and attach the legs. I had to lay the TV on its back on my couch to attach the legs.
I found the TV easy to set up, connect to my wifi, download and install the apps. The remote is easy to understand and use.
The picture and sound are great for my room. I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend this 55" TCL.

TV is fast, responsive, clear, and surprisingly loud/bassy. Really no complaints other than in some shows the black/dark areas get this outlined splotchiness to them but I'm sure there's a setting for it I haven't found yet

Great TV with beautiful picture. It's not an OLED, but it's still great quality, especially if you like brighter screens. Great for gamers who want a bigger screen as well. The sound isn't as good as it could be, but that's remedied fairly easy with a sound bar or surround sound system.

This TV is a favorite among online reviews and after purchasing, I clearly see why. This is a great TV, especially for the price. Bright, clear picture. Decent sound. Navigating the google TV menus is easy and I don't notice the lag that I've seen on other TCL TVs.

I bought the 7K 55 for my bedroom. I initially purchased the TCL QM6K and although the picture was great it didnt get bright enough for my taste in HDR, so I exchanged the 6K for the QM7K. The QM7K was a definate step up in brightness & reflection handling. I had both tvs in my bedroom in the same place, same content, same everything, and the 7k is noticeably better. I have TCL mini LED tvs in other rooms in my house and plan on upgrading all my Tv’s to TCL.

I was a little skeptical on TCL especially when someone told me this TV was extremely good. But after having it for a couple months I can confidently say that this tv had excellent brightness and color! Rivals OLED tvs even with its price tag !

Fantastic Picture, Slow Setup

The TCL QD-MiniLED has fantastic image quality with blacks that go completely dark, almost like an OLED, and 4K content looks especially stunning, though HD content doesn’t have the same wow factor. The 120Hz refresh rate is great for gaming and makes Mario Kart World on the Switch 2 look beautiful, and the remote is decent and responsive. My biggest complaint is that many of the default picture modes skew too warm for my taste, so I had to spend time adjusting settings to get a more neutral color tone. The setup process also took way too long—about 15 minutes of going through endless Google prompts before I could even reach the home screen, which made it feel more like setting up a tablet than a TV. Still, once it’s all configured, the performance is excellent, and I recommend registering with TCL for the extra 90-day warranty extension.

I read alot of good reviews about this tv and when it went on sale I jumped at the opportunity. I had an older Vizio Qled that started to get dark spots in the picture, so I decided to upgrade. It's not really fair to compare the 5yr old tv to this one even though I paid 300 more for it back then. But i have to say, the picture, colors and lighting on the TCL are extremely better than the Vizio. I'm also newer to streaming and find the TCL is easier to navigate as well. All in all I feel it's comparable to other TV's priced twice as much as this one.

This Tcl qm7k is an absolute beast of a tv and I'm so happy I chose it over other models! You can't beat the price, the colors are bright beautiful and vibrant, the picture is absolutely amazing and I would definitely compare it to some of the top of the line Oled's out there! Believe me it can compete with the best of them! The Google TV implements well with the cell phone and is so easy to use. This TV literally has a ton of high end features that compare to the higher end tv's that cost a fortune! 4 hdmi's mini led, qled, a nice remote that's super easy to use, it has everything you need for a great tv with a beautiful picture and I can't recommend this tv enough! Go out and pick it up, you will not be disappointed!

TV is perfect! Key component for us was the type of pedestal base. We needed something that would fit on a smaller tv stand. The picture, sound, brightness quality are excellent.
