I ended up getting this set to replace a broken TV. Considering I got the TV on sale for under $800, I must say the quality is superb for the price. Accurate color saturation and brightness. Great picture quality. Perfect for video games with HDMI 2.0 ports for your modern consoles or devices. HDR and 4k resolution with 120FPS. The only downside to this TV and many others is the sound optimization which is lacking to say the least. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

TV is a very good TV for the price. I bought this TV because my LG OLED TV had screen burn in and was only 4 years old. I noticed this TV had very good reviews and that QLED TV's are not susceptible to screen burn in and image retention like OLED TV's are and this TV is also a QD-Mini LED QLED TV. Also this TV has an adjustable center pedestal stand with a high position to accommodate a soundbar. The TV has very good picture quality. So far I am very happy with my purchase.

Excellent lighting/picture quality, and the QM7K offers a ton of bang for your buck. The TV features HLG, Dolby Vision, HDR 10/10+, and HDR. Honestly, it's probably one of the best LED TVs I've ever bought. TCL's line of televisions have come a long way, and its 2025 class is its best yet. I use it for retro gaming (PS3/PS4), watching Blu-ray movies, and streaming movies/YouTube videos.

Great TV for the price! It definitely offers a clean picture and is a noticeable upgrade if you have never experienced a good 4k picture. I bought this to take advantage of the Switch 2 and it has everything I need to ensure the game displays beautifully. For everything the TV offers it’s hard to find a better value.

Bought this TV expecting average to standard 4k display being a budget TV. Was actually impressed with the quality and overall experience. My main use is general tv streaming and gaming(not intense gaming just average gaming on nintendo switch) PROs: Very minimal input delay for gaming, google tv out the box which works with my google ecosystem, amazing picture quality (dare I say it rivals my LG c3 tv, with adjustments) Multiple HDMI ports, with a dedicated eArc port for sound bars thats not in place of an HDMI 2.1 port. CONs: not impressed with the sound of the tv, thankfully I dont use it at volumes passed 20 being a bedroom tv (by no means is the sound bad it just starts to crackle passed a certain point) If you planning to use this TV in a dark room, the TV can be very bright even at the lowest dimmed settings. Conclusion: Really great TV, excellent fratures and overall really impressed with TCL's quality.

I have to admit, I didn't think the TCL QM7K was going to blow me away, but it did. I had to do a little creative work with the wall mount after removing my previous TCL. The woofers on the top of the rear were interfering with the vertical bars. After we navigated that, setup was a breeze and the picture quality was unbelievable. Streaming 4K HDR all day, Only thing that hung me up was the remote does not function as an IR blaster for Google TV, so I couldn't control my older sound bar. Oh nooo, I had to go buy an HDMI-CEC compatible Atmos system!!

Great deal and quality. I got off work and literally had 14 minutes to choose a TV and was after talking to 2 different Reps (1 for LG) I chose TCL brand. Was concerned that the price was to good to be true but with the service protection plan I am confident and can really enjoy this TV with all the apps for streaming and Google Tv.

Nov. 2025: I absolutely enjoyed the visuals this panel gives, at least for the 45 days I owned it. Unfortunately, TCL coupled a great panel with inferior internal electronics. The UI is super laggy, think Windows 98. In addition the CEC is bugged, TCL has struggled to provide their hardware the necessary code for the units properly handle connected HDMI devices. After my purchase, a software update was pushed and forced (v237) that rendered audio output via eARC useless. The sound would randomly pop-in and out. TCL support let me know that it is a known issue and that their engineers hope to have a fix for it over the next few months. Unwilling to wait for a fix, I returned it and picked up a Samsung.

Absolutely stunning tv for the price point. Im usually a big 3 guy and normally go with Samsung and sometimes Sony, but our tv was going out and a friend of mine had very high praises of his TCL in this series so i figured for the rigjt price i dont mind spending a little extra even with it being for a bedroom. Made the absolute right choices. I havent messed with any of the settings for video, and i dont feel the need to. I like it to be vibrant and this has that in spades! I am knocking a bit off the speaker score since already had a sonos sound bar, but i went a few days just off the tv speakers just to test (i have a full 7.1.4 surround in my home theater setup) as i just wanted to see how it measured up with the sound bar. I knew there would be a gap, but its a canyon. They arent terrible, but even the sound bar without a subwoofer puts the tv speakers to shame. Im sure someone wouldnt mind them, but for me i was not impressed. I have to give it one benefit of the doubt though, its not mounted and about 2 feet from the wall, so i assume it relies on the wall for accoustics, which its not getting in my setup. The overall score is not adjusted as i dont rely on the tv speakers for my bedroom or home theater so its a non factor. It may be for some tho.

We love the TV--the picture is clear, color is vibrant, and even though it sits across from windows, we get no reflection at all! The Google interface is easy and works great.

    55" TCL Review

I wanted a larger smart TV to replace my old 42" Vizio and I found this TCL at Best Buy. It had very good ratings and fit my budget. I found it difficult to assemble and attach the legs. I had to lay the TV on its back on my couch to attach the legs. I found the TV easy to set up, connect to my wifi, download and install the apps. The remote is easy to understand and use. The picture and sound are great for my room. I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend this 55" TCL.

This is the nicest TV I’ve ever owned. I switched from a Samsung TV that literally fell apart to this TCL. I don’t know how long it will last but I do know that it blows Samsung completely away. Time will tell on the longevity of the TV, but as far today, it’s the brightest nicest greatest picture TV I’ve ever owned.

Great TV for the price, the picture is amazing. Setup was easy out of the box, putting the stand on was the most time consuming part, but not bad. The settings menu is similar to Sony's so it's easy to use. I would recommend a soundbar though, the sound from the speakers wasn't quite what I expected it to be, but otherwise everything else is great.

I think TCL has been improving its televisions, and this is an example of that. You don't need to spend much more than 1000 to have a decent television for less than that. Although the factory calibration is a bit weak, this television is without a doubt the best option within its price range for this year. Excellent sound, blacks almost like an OLED, excellent for gaming. I am very happy with this TV.

Good tv i returned mine as it was too big but if you game on your tv and have adequate space it is worth imo if you watch movies in a dark lit room this tv works wonders the speakers are kinda bass heavy but in a good setting it just works I wish they had like a 45/43”

I bought the 7K 55 for my bedroom. I initially purchased the TCL QM6K and although the picture was great it didnt get bright enough for my taste in HDR, so I exchanged the 6K for the QM7K. The QM7K was a definate step up in brightness & reflection handling. I had both tvs in my bedroom in the same place, same content, same everything, and the 7k is noticeably better. I have TCL mini LED tvs in other rooms in my house and plan on upgrading all my Tv’s to TCL.
