The gentlemen assumed role of get out my way and mounted, connected, and professionally installed my TCL QM6k. They were very knowledgeable and not awkward at all as most can get in an unknown home with a stranger.

This TV was a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t expecting much of a difference from my old 43’ Insignia TV but this tv is light years ahead of that tv. The colors are rich and the blacks are deep. It’s not an OLED tv but the average person that watches tv likely wont notice a difference. Start up is a little slower than I’m used to and the Google TV set up and OS is a little clunky to me (take that with a grain of salt as I primarily use an AppleTV on all of my tvs). I’ve noticed a huge difference when playing games due to the 144hz refresh rate. Gaming has been a blast. The only annoyance that I have is with game mode and not being able to set a permanent brightness level. I have to adjust the brightness in game mode every time but it isn’t a deal breaker. I definitely would get another one when it’s time to replace my livingroom tv!

The TCL 55 inch TV is amazing. I purchased it on Black Friday, so it was on sale. It was a birthday gift for my son. His room was being renovated, so I let him use my 55 inch LG for his gaming. I was afraid once he played on the TCL he would hate it because of the quality of the LG. I had doubts because of the price and the unfamiliar name. But boy was I wrong. This TV surpassed my expectations by miles. Amazing color, sharpness, contrast, brightness and refresh rate. Now I want one for myself as well. Hands down the best TV I've ever purchased thus far.

The picture and sound are very nice. One problem, however, is that occasionally the TV acts like the remote has been used when it hasn't, e.g., suddenly the input will change from TV to an HDMI input. Another minor annoyance is the remote. Just poorly designed. Buttons in odd places and no way to quickly input a channel number. One must use a kludgy menu number selector. The TV itself has great video and sound.

Exceptional price-to-performance ratio for 144Hz g

I picked up the 55-inch Q6MK specifically to see if a budget Mini-LED could actually handle high-refresh gaming, and I’m genuinely impressed. The 144Hz native panel is the real deal motion is fluid in fast-paced shooters and the input lag is virtually non-existent in Game Mode.
The contrast from the HVA panel combined with the Mini-LED dimming zones gives deep blacks that rival much more expensive sets. While it doesn't hit the blinding 2,000+ nits of flagship models, the 900-1,000 nit peak is plenty for a punchy HDR experience in a moderately lit room. If you’re looking for a display that can double as a high-end gaming monitor without the OLED price tag, this is it.

Been using this for the last couple of weeks and this tv has been great. The colors are rich and vibrant, the sound is good by itself, I do have it connected to a sound bar, and it's nice the remote controls that too. It does take some to set up if you have a few of the apps to set up and re-log into or if you don't have a google account. I was weary about having a google tv interface, as I've only used Roku and the Fire tv and Fire stick. It has been surprisingly good and easy to navigate, not to mention very quick into switching to different apps and settings. I have another TCL tv that has been pretty good, but this has been a great upgrade. It has everything that I wanted and within my budget. Has enough HDMI ports and USB ports. It has up to 120hz on it and the smart interface recognizes when my game console is connected and makes those internal.changes to get the most out of the picture, sound, and quality. Overall I've been impressed with the tv, as well as the remote which is all backlit, not just a few buttons, but all the buttons, very nice feature. If your looking for a tv that wont break the bank and has all the features you need for a good gaming tv as well as a great movie watching experience, then this tv should do the trick.

Amazing TV especially for the price. Colors look great, very deep blacks and the high refresh rate works great for gaming. Even the remote is nice. The sales associate in store was also very helpful.

I purchased a Sony Bravia 9 from the same Best Buy. It is also a mini q l e d. In terms of price, it is almost like comparing an apple to a grape.
However, for the money, the TLC is great. If it were my only TV I would be thrilled with it because the picture is very sharp, clear and the color is robust. It has all the features you would expect from a smart t v, and then some.
It was fairly simple to set up even for someone like me that's not very up to date with all the technology. I'm not sure what you would do if you didn't have a cellular phone unless you were just setting it up for digital channels, you can get over-the-air.
I have youtube t v, and I also set it up with a digital antenna. Amazing, the picture remains crystal clear regardless of which way i'm watching the live broadcasts.
I am still learning about all of its capabilities, but I am extremely pleased with my purchase and the information I was able to research on your website before I made the decision to purchace. Let's not forget about such a great price Best Buy offered also.

I'm extremely happy with this purchase. This television has an excellent display, clear and crisp images, optimal brightness. Great contrast with the mini led. Love the matte finish. The built in speakers are nearly as good as our sound bar with subwoofer. It might not beat the newest OLED, but it's the next best on the market. For mid-range TV's, it is high quality and superior to most other options in the approximately $500 range. I recommend this TV.

We got this TV on a whim to fit into our apartment. We wanted to find something with good brightness, good quality, and an overall clean picture with no artifacts.
I was really surprised to see this discounted for $500 or so, considering how well made it is! It competes with my LG Oled C1, which is really saying something.
You'll need to do some adjustments to the display in order for it to look the best. After all is said and done it's an incredibly bright and vivid display, with solid color accuracy, a sharp image, and deep blacks. A nice bonus is the 120fps mode, super smooth for gameplay, and I'm surprised it isn't being advertised as much.
Overall, really impressed when I originally was hesitant. To my pleasant surprise nothing has shown itself to be a problem and it's met all my expectations, even for a TCL.

Not that bad!
So far the picture quality is great! The sound isn't bad, it's what I expect from a TV.
The Imax feature for some movies is a really nice touch.
It's capable of using Nvidia Now, and some retro emulation.
The enhanced refresh rate is great
The cons:
Trying to fine tune the 'motion' settings is tricky the default one gets a lot of tearing .
Not being able to remove certain apps off of the home screen.
Imax is an automatic feature, and can not be set in the settings or as a default .
Adaptive brightness can be a bit messy in certain circumstances.
Overall? I can't gripe too much especially for the pirce I got this for.
