The small remote is hard to hold and the slightest touch of any button makes an instant change, especially the volume and mute buttons on the right side of the remote. When you are in your 80's that is frustrating. We usually are not concerned with the remote that comes with the TV because we set up the TV with our cable remote and this is the first TV we cannot control with our cable remote. When we turn our cable box on we then have to use the TV remote to turn on the TV, control the sound volume and mute control. When we turn the cable box off we still have to use the TV remote to turn off the TV. I will never buy another TV like this and do not recommend that anyone with any restrictions in their hands buy one either.

Many Universal and cable box remotes can be programmed to control select functions on the TV. You can visit https://support.tcl.com/us-remote-codes for more information. If you do not see your specific remote, you would need to contact the remote's manufacturer to obtain the remote code from them. Additionally, you can program the TV to power on the a specific input by going to Home>Settings>System>Power>Power On>Select input. TCL 58" Smart Roku TV

The only negative issue I have with it is the sound quality is awful. I have to turn it up past 20 on my tv sound gauge to be able to hear it good, and I even have a soundbar connected to it, with was also on the tv this replaced but didn't effect its sound quality.

MIL Loves it

Very good value for money

You probably will get a bit less than Samsung or LG grade picture quality- you can barely tell. Cannot comment on durability as it hasn’t broken yet! The features and software are user-friendly.
