Roku TVs in my opinion are superior. They come already with a ton of channels and apps - no need for a provider. As long as you have wifi - you can watch practically anything. Easy to adjust settings, sleep timer is a life saver, display is great, sound quality is OK but a sound bar is an easy and inexpensive fix.
