Faulty TV

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was a solid TV for the price but only 6 months later and it keeps saying it's overheating about 2 or 3 minutes after turning on. The TV isn't warm in any area and there's plenty of ventilation so I suspect faulty hardware and or software causing an error because when I go to the Roku screen where I can check the temperature, it keeps saying it's over 120°C. Mind you, it only takes 100°C to boil water so if that were actually true, this TV would be practically melted by now but instead it's working fine and nothing's damaged yet I still get the overheating message. Wouldn't recommend TCL even if you're on a budget. Go for an Insignia if you're really trying to save money because TCL just isn't the one.

We absolutely love it, I was thinking about returning it because the wifi kept on disconnecting and I would have to set it up every time I would turn tv on! But I read online on how to avoid that. All you need to do is enable “Fast TV Start” and problem fixed! Highly recommend
