Just purchased this one yesterday and it works fantastic. My only suggestion is to have someone help you mount it, I did that by myself and it was a chore....

Later that day the television developed horizontal lines then in the middle of the Pose season premier the screen went completely black. I now have to wait until May 10th for service as the BB near me only services televisions sized 42in and below.

Truly the worst TV I ever purchased
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive owned this TV for a year now and throughout the year it has continuously became unresponsive to the remote and then will reset itself for no reason, so if you are in the middle of a show and it resets, make sure to hit pause because it will be a minute or two before you can continue. At one point I turned it on and I could not read text nor barely make out features on the screen. It looked like the contrast, darkness, tint everything had been set to the lowest setting and I had to do a factory reset to get it back to normal. The wifi adapter is weak at best, you are better off plugging a cat5 cable into it instead of using wifi. This was an expensive mistake on my part.

Junk TV Do not Buy

The screen was occasionally going black, but I didn't worry about it since it would fix itself if I unplugged it. Now 14 months after purchase, the screen won't come on at all. I searched online and this is a common problem with TCL TV's. I called TCL and they won't fix it after 12 months. This is the last TV I will purchase from TCL. If you do decide to purchase it, make sure you get an extended warranty, and plan on using it.

Non functioning HDMI ports.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent a bunch of reading the mostly positive reviews of this TV and totally ignored the one that said: "HDMI ports don't work" bought the TV, drove it home, carried it up the the 2nd floor and carefully opened and assembled. The Image is not like more expensive TVs Color is a bit washed out and blacks are sorta gray. I could put up with the color however, due to the very attractive price. The problem started when I plugged in my PC's HDMI port in there for streaming. None of the 3 ports worked with the PC. Windows sees that a new "monitor" is plugged in, but can't display to it. the TV says: No signal. I spent a few hours playing around with it and tried a few other devices like my set top box. The HDMI ports are really buggy. they sometimes work, most of the time didn't. I think there's a HW / firmware issue with these TVs. returned it the same day. Thanks to Bestbuy for great return policy.

Stuck With Roku

Hope you don't want to use a regular TV remote. And Roku controls the apps you can load on YOUR TV. I wish I could get away from Roku without spending another 500 to 600 dollars.

Many Universal and cable box remotes can be programmed to control select features on the TV. You can visit https://support.tcl.com/us-remote-codes for more information. If you do not see your specific remote, you would need to contact the remote's manufacturer to obtain the remote code from them. Additionally, our Roku TVs have access to thousands of streaming channels, and over 500,000 movies and tv episodes to fulfill almost any streaming need. This TV also includes several HDMI ports to connect external devices. Hope this helps!

Worst tv ever multiple issues

Voices and sound often out of sych with picture 2. Audio will distort so you are stuck with tv speakers 3. Channels for live tv are random on and off. As example I can get 38.1 and 38.4. Then if I scroll completely through all channeled I will get 38.2 and 38.3 but not 38.1 and 38.4. I can repeat it. This is a simple example it actually adds and drops several others. Watching Seinfeld? Change channel? It’s gone. But if you completely scroll through it will exist every other time. HATE THIS TV. RESEARCH. DO YOURSELF FAVOR LAST I have another roju tv that is fine

Save yourself the trouble

Yes the price looks great on paper, but considering you will be spending that same price again in only a year and half later you could have gotten a better and Quality TV. 3 months after I bought this for Christmas the sound started to go out, then after the year and half marker hit the screen blacked out and found no way of fixing it. There is a reason the manufacturer only has a year warranty on it, and that is so they can screw you. Their Customer service is just as awful!

Roku TV's Trash Your Wifi
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.All Roku devices INTENTIONALLY interfere with the WIFI network that they are attached to in order to communicate with their remote control. The result is that your Wifi network slow down to deal with the interference....this tanks your Wifi router! I had to go as far as to install a SECOND Wifi router JUST for the Roku sticks and TV's in my house! And yes, this is a violation of the Wifi specifications and FCC rules. No more Roku's for me!

Bad screen from the start

TCL refused to fix it on warranty through Costco. Now 1 year later the screen is black and the sound is out! Piece of junk TV was a lemon from day 1 and there’s no customer service to get if fixed or replaced! Huge mistake and regret the purchase completely.
