While most customers report good experience with the sound on their TV, we understand that different people have different preferences. The sound level of different types of content is dictated by the content provider and even varies from channel to channel. There are also some audio setting that can be accessed through the home screen by going to settings, and also by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content. TV was great, exactly what we needed, not top of the line, but was good enough for us. Exactly ONE MONTH after the 1 year warranty expires, black screen. Sound is fine, screen refuses to work. You'll notice this is definitely a trend with this particular model. We've had a 42? inch TCL Roku TV for YEARS with zero issues, now that 42 inch TCL is sitting in front of the giant 65 inch that just died after 13 months of us owning it. Will not be buying TCL again, which sucks, because we had a good experience with the smaller version.
