Great picture - inconsistent Roku software

Big problem: This TV's Roku software doesn't always work like the streaming Roku devices: ie. stops working and you have to power on and off the TV to resume Netflix or Amazon Prime Video or other channels. More annoying than a deal breaker. I would buy this again for the price.......

Large enough to create a wow picture, great definition for my sports and super color for all of our family shows.

I truly enjoy the TCL's brand and features in their TVs. I now own 3. My first was bought 10 yrs ago and I was extremely impressed with the ROKU features that I canceled satellite services. Totally worth every dime.

HDMI ARC doesn't work

The picture quality is very good, its bright and the ROKU smarts are good. BUT HDMI ARC does not work, at least not on the two sound bars I've tried. Either works fine with optical, but my main reason for wanting ARC is to avoid the dreaded 2nd remote for volume. Fortunately on one of the soundbars volume works if I connect both optical and HDMI. The ARC on this bar will occasionally work for a few minutes. The second sound bar the only option is optical or analog, neither of which lets me use the TV remote. This is incredibly disappointing. If I'd had two sound bars when I got the TV I would have returned it. But as it was I couldn't tell if it was the bar or the TV that was at fault.

Our old tv went all vertical lines on us so did not have a planned event. So the help was great with all the varieties that exist
