Wanted to like this tv

Looked at LG 6 & 7 series and Samsung 6 series and decided on this because I like the Roku format and the Dolby Vision format. The picture is very good and the tv is fairly easy to navigate, my gripe is I have a 4K receiver for the surround and can’t get the tv to recognize it. I have an hdmi on the arc and have tried every setting on the tv menu and no sound. Put it on the optical out and still nothing. I spent too much time looking on the internet for help and nothing works. Calling TCL was a waste of time. Frustrated enough to bring the tv back.

seems like it does the job

While the product worked I have to say the last two times I went to Best Buy the sales people were not knowledgeable about the products in the department. :(

Beautiful picture at a great price

Screen material is reflective so keep that in mind when positioning unit. The box is quite large. I tried to pick it up myself And had to go rent a Uhaul van. Definitely recommend delivery if you don’t have a vehicle that is big enough.

Nice for the price

It’s used in an dark room with no windows and it’s quite bright. I run all my video and streaming through my AV receiver so I can’t comment on that. Overall I’m happy with the purchase.

It was easy to install and set up. They are not overly "techy" but this TV is very user friendly and they love it! When we need a new one, we will be getting the same one!

I have the brightness all the way up. Vivid setting. 80 percent sharpness. And it's still blah. If it wasn't such a bother to pack up I would've returned it and upgraded. The roku software is a bit slow. About every third or fourth time you turn it on the wifi must be set back up as it forgets the network. I can't stress enough how unexcited I am to turn this thing on. 4K? I guess it's in there somewhere.....maybe it's in the dull light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully I got a lemon and it breaks. Going back to samsung or sony. TCL must stand for totally crappy led.

Amazing for price
