    I never understood when I saw advertisements for TVs that said how black their blacks were, until I got this TV. I always thought black was black, but this TV's blacks are so deep it makes the contrast between dark and light amazing, as are how bright the colors are. Just a great picture. And Roku is a great operating system.

    65" TCL Roku TV is fraught with problems. Avoid it

    I like TCL. The TV's picture is good. But their Roku operating system is garbage. It's unusable. The channels you save do not start saved. The channels you favorite disappear. The remote is very unresponsive, unwieldy, and not very ergonomic. The symbols used for the buttons aren't intuitive either. You think you're pushing "back" but it's not back, it's some other feature. And the denounce for the button press doesn't work. You press once and it enters the button like you're holding the keys down on a Windows keyboard. Worst of all is the software glitches. Upon attempting to open the Netflix app, it crashes. No update available. If you delete and reinstall, it works one time. Each time you try to restart Netflix, it repeatedly crashes and requires reinstallation. After visiting various help sites, none of the solutions presented created a repeatable fix. I'm thoroughly dissatisfied with TCL's Roku TV and I'm returning it tomorrow. As I'm returning it, I perused the Best Buy website Open Box list and found two more of these exact TVs are already there. That says a lot to me. Apparently, I'm not the only dissatisfied buyer. I 100% do not recommend this TV.

    From my lots of hours of research, this TV was going to be the best bang for the buck. Picture was great with beautiful Dolby vision. Great contrast but had lots of blooming. TV was fast and responsive. Design was great. I was admiring the TV until when I saw two penny-sized black spots on the lower right of the screen. I was not going to keep a defective TV. Then I had to go through hard times repackaging for them to pick up. How can you let a defective TV pass through QC? Now I am hesitant about getting any new TCL tvs, even though they come up with cool new techs. Ugh, I really admired TCL :(

    Incredible TV for the money. This is my third TCL and they are all great. I bought the Hisense U6G after reading great things about it and that was a huge mistake. I boubht this after and this is a far better TV with much better blacks and motion. Great TV!

    The tv is great . Except it needs returned because there is a problem with the Netflix app. From the set up the tv said there is no room. Lol. The tech. Was great and helpful. Disappointed that it takes a month to replace the tv.

    This is not the greatest TV ever, but at the price point, it is quite good. I wanted to get the 6 series, but it was out of stock, and so got the 5 series instead. The screen is not quite bright enough for viewing in a well-lit bright room. Otherwise, it is quite OK.

    I really like the Roku interface compared to any other platform. So simple and user friendly. Also, I’ve never had an issue downloading an app that was not preinstalled. Some of the newer ones like HBO Now and Discovery + are only available on select t.v.s .

    The young man, Merritt, did an excellent job explaining things to us 2 weeks before when we bought one tv and helped us again the second time. Friendly, articulate and knowledgeable were the key to our purchases. Thank you. I’d hire him in a minute!

    Upgraded from an LED to this Oled specially for gaming. It was worth it. Great TV for the price. Saved a lot vs. Spending an extra $300 for a Samsung or Sony. The blacks are amazing and the 120hz is great too, you notice the difference. It also works with Alexa

    This TV has a great picture, and I enjoy it very much. My only substantive criticism is that the remote has limited features, and offers no voice input. In this day of high end TV's, that's unfortunate.
