Lasted 3 years - Green Vertical Lines Appeared
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this TCL 5 Series (65”) in November 2020. It was a pretty solid tv, with good local dimming, decent brightness, and decent user interface with Roku TV. It had good sound, and was a very solid option at the time. However, after 1.5-2 years, the TV slowed down, signed out of a lot of streaming apps although they were being frequently used. It started to slow down as well, although I did not use it for any gaming setup and averaged maybe 14 hours of use per week. Unfortunately, as it hit the 3 year mark of owning this TCL, vertical green lines started to appear out of nowhere (no damage to the tv, no movement) and no sign of being able to be repaired/worth repairing for the value of the TV. Now I have to look into buying another TV. Recommend the TCL 6 Series (nothing less) or newer, if looking for low budget but great quality LED Smart TV with full array local dimming and decent brightness. Otherwise also recommend Hisense or Samsung TV with Google TV interface rather than Roku TV.

The TCL was not what I thought was ordered and was sent. We expected the series 6 and got the 5 which ws not very good. We are much better with the AU 8000 that was exchanger. My eyes are not good so please excuse!

Very poor tv JUNK

Have had two of them and both went out in less then two years. Tcl said they would fix them and when I asked for box to send to them they changed there mind. The LED light go out and you have no picture,

Best Buy I Ever Made
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a TCL - 65” Class 5 Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Roku TV four years ago and it has been beautifully working without ONE glitch ever since. The picture is lovely and makes my hubby feel like he’s right on the field when his favorite football games are on! I think I’ll by the next size up and treat him with it next year! TCL is the best. Affordable and dependable.

The sales person said the Geek Squad could hang this over the fireplace, however they could not...It became a bad, embrassing experience

Best value tv, like review websites suggest? Nope.

It hardly looks better than my pathetic TCL S434 (both 65”). My 5+ yr old LG UJ6300 looks infinitely better than either of these, and it was about the same price....

Great all around TV at a great price.

Having 2 positions for the legs is really nice as I did not have a 65 inch wide surface to set it on. As far as I can tell the wire channels in the legs don't work well when the legs are mounted in the inner position. (Not a big deal, just a note.) The picture quality is great for what I need. I find gaming on it to be great as well, but you MUST turn on gaming mode otherwise the input lag is extremely bad. With gaming mode on I don't notice any lag. I've watched a few 4k movies clips and they look very good. I'm guessing I would notice a screen quality difference if I put this side to side against a more expensive television, but sitting in my house with nothing other to compare it to the quality is more than I need and for the price I have no complaints.

Good Quality TV!

Two options of where to install the feet of the TV. Which helps with putting on a TV stand. Picture is great... very bright, but once you adjust to your liking its very pleasant to the eyes.. Sound is o.k. , Sound bar or home theater is a must... I am very happy with it.
