Another issue is even the lowest brightness setting at night the whites are piercing. Retuned and got a LG Oled

Additionally, you can access expert picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet. The Roku mobile app works as a remote and allows you to access additional features like voice search, private listening, expert picture settings, and more. The remote control out of the box showed up with dead batteries. The installation is also not user friendly had to run it twice on my phone to get it right. The tv forces you to use the app during installation or the tv work big let down. Recently the tv i got turns on by itself at random times. Save yourself the time and money and go for something else!

Flicker, poor 4k

Stopped working after 3 months!!!

TCL customer service was a nightmare to deal with. Completely indifferent. Thankfully Best Buy took care of me and I got a Sony as a replacement. TCL is cheap but they don’t last and do not honor their warranty. I’ll never buy a TCL again.

Don't waste your money

TCL refuses to do anything under the warranty even though it is supposed to be covered for a year. They are convinced I did something to break the TV even though it worked before I left town and I came back to a dead TV. Go with a more established brand unless you think $1000 for a TV that lasts 4 months is a good deal.

Defective!

A few months after purchasing the TV I would go to turn it on and the screen would stay black but you can still hear sound. I found a way to reset the tv with the remote and that will fix it for a couple of days and then it will do it again. Very frustrating.
