    This tv should be amazing but it's defective has a lot of internal problems that the manufacturer is responsible for and they take none when you contact them about the deflective problems do not buy this tv buy a LG Sony or Samsung and save yourself a lot of time and trouble.

    Glitch

    Initially, the picture was very good and the sound was acceptable. But it shortly thereafter developed a glitch in the picture and sound in which the picture lost much of its color and was washed out and the sound was muddled as if filtered through a mask.

    Great TV until it died 14 months after purchasing it. No power. Tried all of the recycling, resetting procedures. Talked to a TCL rep. Nothing. As much as this tv cost, it should last.

    BROKE NO POWER. If you buy a tv from best buy you may just get it fixed in 2 months SO DONT. you cannot talk to the stores either. only people online in another country

    Getting this TV for under $1000 is a steal.

    I bought this TV about 2 and half years ago. I've heard some people talk about the panel lottery, but ultimately I haven't had any issues with it ever. It's the best looking TV I've ever owned, and while I might be inclined to upgrade to an OLED TV in a couple years, I'm skeptical the upgrade is going to make a dramatic difference. HDR content on this TV looks great, I bought a 4K Blu-Ray player and I love the way it looks. Dolby Vision is excellent and with a solid sound system, everything looks and sounds fantastic.

    I love the Roku OS. It's the best TV operating system out there. Picture quality is very good on this TV. HDR content flat out looks amazing. I love it when I see the TV automatically enter Dolby Vision mode for content that supports it. It really is next level visuals and this type of content is only going to grow on streaming services. I think I may have gotten a perfect specimen. Very uniform screen, no black marks or other odd quality control issues. I used to buy really expensive TV's back in the day when the first LCD TV's began to take over from the old CRT TV's. This TV is pretty affordable for what you're getting. Best picture quality in any TV that I've ever owned, hands down. TCL has come a long way from their budget brand days.

    The screen makes like some static stuff on it n fixed on own but sometimes can be scary and stay there i have to be turning off my tv n turning it on

    I did not like this television. Is not a high end set. I had difficulties with it after a very short time. Best Buy took it back and I upgraded to the Samsung.

    After a week, the TV became stuck in a manufacturer mode and would only flash alternating colors. Best Buy made the return process easy.

    This pertains to the 65". The picture was nice and the display panel was perfect from end-to-end. Hardly any blooming and nice colors and blacks. Compared to other TVs in this price range, it was better. Lots of settings to choose from and the Roku OS is snappy and excellent. TV could also go pretty darn bright, even facing a window. However, the motion handling is bad. I had to return it. I am not a TV snob at all, but the motion tearing and stuttering made everything unwatchable for me. I turned off all the motion settings and it made it better, but the jitter was very pronounced still. I'm not talking about watching a hockey game; the motion issues were terrible watching people waving their hands around when talking. Same with any film of moving cars. The foreground was fine, but the background was almost like watching a movie at 2fps. Too bad!

    We purchased this TV because of the price point and the excellent reviews. We are extremely happy with it. As other reviewers have said, the Roku navigation is great. The TV has an excellent picture which seems easier on our eyes than our more expensive Samsung. We were pleasantly surprised by the ease of set up and the quality of the sound. We are recommending it to friends and one couple has already purchased one and are happy with it.
