Don't buy this TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This TV is absolute junk. I bought it a year and a half ago based on glowing reviews from many sources. Picture quality was horrible right out of the box. TCL, rather than replace, sent a technician to work on it. He replaced every board in it with no improvement in quality. Dark scenes are washed out and brownish in color. Faces have brown tones where I suppose some shadowing should be. The picture is flat and dull with no way to brighten without losing color and clarity. Lots of blooming. Overall the worst buying decision I have ever made. Since it is out of warranty, TCL refuses to do anything. I am waiting for a quality tv to go on sale to replace it and plan to take a baseball bat to it when I do. I had great hopes when I bought this TV but have been nothing but disappointed. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Our TVs do come with a 1-year parts and labor manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. Worst setup in my life

The remote won’t pair with the tv and there is literally no workaround. I have called both TCL and BestBuy support to no avail. Dead product on my hand and it’s a pain to take it back to the store! Stay away if you like your sanity!!!!!!

Nice TV but died at four years old

That may be long enough for some but not me. We heard a loud pop then the TV died and wouldn't turn back on. Capacitor in the power supply blew. Upon googling it seems like it's a common occurrence with TCLs.

Do wish I could've used Tv

No where online did i see missing remote and stand. How is missing parts satisfactory? Keep in mind i recently purchased an open box laptop in Satisfactory condition and received all of the components. Now I have to wait 2 to 5 days for my refund so I may shop with the competitor. Very misleading on the stores behalf . And thank you for trying to sell me a Tv stand for an already expensive tv.

Very disappointing experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had installed by Geek squad and they did an excellent job in both the installation and setup….TV worked fine for a while and we rarely use as it’s in a 2nd home….TV is dead on arrival with no power after very few hours of viewing…we have surge protectors so wasn’t a surge problem…Customer service was of very little help.

The remote control is very unresponsive

It took me 1 hour and still cannot type my email to activate the TV because the remote response is extremely slow. Changing new battery would not help. It took me 20 seconds or a few minutes to enter a character. What ever yo change the distance to the TV would not help

Great TV if you don't use external speakers.

If using external AV gear, TV will inexplicably revert to Stereo PCM, regardless of source type. Roku will say it's a TCL issue. TCL will say its a Roku issue. Either way, you'll be stuck listening to Stereo PCM on your Dolby Atmos setup. AVOID.

Terrible Purchase

Spend a little more in a better tv
