Our Samsung may have rated better overall, but it also cost us around $6,800.00 by the time we had all the equipment and things we needed to turn it on in 2014. Now it needs a STB, and Roku stick just to be able to stream because our 4k to 8k capability TV is out of date. This TCL we just bought for downstairs was $1,450.00 out the door and hooked up. With built in Roku streaming is cake. The only issue we had was cheap remote that didn't work from the get-go. Best buy did not have another on hand, so they gave us a good quality remote off the shelf. We have only had it hooked up for days, but so far so good.

Amazing TV. New ones have come out but perfect gift for the parents!

Maybe I got a bad one but returned. I am used to Sony color science and grabbed this to pair with my PS5 until 4k/120 is further massaged. Twas a mistake, too far away from the phenomenal Sony picture I am used. Many who have not experienced high end might enjoy or even be amazed but not me. I give it high marks for 60hz gaming and brightness, everything else was too far below my standard. Cable looked like mud and tuning controls are far more limited than anything I have used besides a computer monitor. I think the price is right for what you get though. So fairness in cost is there...

Great tv for the price. Looks great for gaming and streaming. Even the sound is pretty good for this tv. I highly recommend this TV for the price range

Great price; clear picture; bright colors; easy to operate

I would give this TV five stars, but I've only had it a month and had two problems. Luckily customer service was able to help with both, when you can finally get to speak with someone. First problem, TV came not synched with remote or possibly a software problem....resulted in TV randomly turning ON 10-15 minutes after you turned it off. Second problem, turned TV on, heard a snap or crack come from the TV and the audio was scratchy and very weak. Re set TV to factory setting fixed the problem. Hope this was the last of them. Now the good - Picture quality is fantastic

Great picture and sound. Roku interface is easy to use. When I first set it up the remote did not pair properly, so defaulted to the infrared mode and was agonizing to use. This was fixed during troubleshooting for the other problem. The TV did not recognize the HDMI signal from my satellite box, even though the satellite worked on another TV and other devises worked on the same HDMI ports. This was fixed by adding an HDMI signal booster. Customer service was very helpful, even though I ended up fixing the problem myself.

Bought this TV for the new Xbox Series X. I've been very happy with the picture quality. The price is great for the features you are getting. Biggest wish is that it would support 4K at 120Hz. But I don't believe I'll be missing out on much. If the Series X can put out a constant 60Hz at 4K, it'll still be an excellent experience.

I have a previous generation TCL 6 series which I absolutely love. I purchased this new gen for my basement setup. I had originally hooked up a Dolby Atmos soundbar through HDMI eARC, but the soundbar couldn't communicate properly to the TV causing intermittent sound issues. I ended up using the older TCL to get Dolby Atmos to work properly. I used just a regular 5.1 soundbar system to hook up to this TV and now it works like a charm. Picture is great, and the voice remote is very convenient. Amazing value for what you get!

What can I say? I fell in love with this brand because of the stunning HD PICTURE. Easy setup, great match with my sound bar. Love the 65 inch screen. Where have you been all my life {LOL}. I got a great deal on this open box jewel. Also purchased the Best Buy/GeekSquad care plan.

This is our second TCL TV, and we are very impressed with this one. The picture is so bright and beautiful. And we love having the built-in Roku. With it mounted on the wall, the only wiring we needed was the power cord.

I can’t say it was easy to get my hands on one of these, but it was worth it. This TV is mind blowingly good. A lot of people tried to talk me into the Sony, and I am sure it’s good to, but to my eyes I don’t see how you can do better on picture quality. Easy setup, and roku is a polished way to operate the tv.

Good picture and very user friendly. Switching between built in Roku apps and cable tv about as easy as it gets.

Worst TV I have ever used. Picture quality started failing shortly after purchase. Local dimming issues, flickering screen, vertical lines, horizontal lines. Tried warranty right before 1 year period. Troublshooting worked for a couple days, just enough to get me out of warranty. But problem came back after warranty and it's too late. This seems like a throw-away quality to me. Will not buy TCL again. Their Altos 9+ sound bar is just about as bad.

This model TCL was rated as a "Best Buy" on CNET. Very happy with our purchase. This may be our last TV purchase so we wanted something that would hold up with time. Now that we have it, we can see why. Good price, great picture, modern technology and user friendly. Love the Roku and all it entails.

Amazing picture quality and easy set up with Roku. With this tv on the market there is no reason to spend more on a comparable LG, Samsung, or Sony. The mini LED tech is amazing for watching movies and playing games. God of War is jaw dropping as well as Spider Man Into the Spider Verse. 10 out of 10.

Good price and picture. The Roku remote can be finicky on rare occasions, otherwise, it works fine.
