Excellent for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared side-by-side in home to a popular Sony Bravia that was twice the cost. The Bravia had a bit less motion blur, easily had more vivid colors, and did better in dirty screen tests. Despite the Bravia being noticeably better, everyone who compared the two agreed it was not that much better. And, nowhere near worth twice the cost. The TCL is an excellent TV for the cost. A pity Best Buy does not sell the full remote like the other online retailers, but the remote and the phone app suffice.

Excellent price / performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had high expectations for this TV because of it's excellent recommendation from the Wirecutter but, seeing it in real life, I found that my expectations were too low! Coming from a pretty traditional LCD screen from five years ago, the crispness of 4K, and increased color range of HDR, combined with the dynamic contrast zones was incredibly eye-popping! The screen was large enough that I felt like I was in a theater compared to my previous 37" screen. I heartily recommend it for anyone that wants a great screen without breaking the bank.

Great TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went from a Vizio non 4k, to this, like night and day! Vizio is a great tv, and was the bargain super tv for a while, but this is it now! One very important thing I found out, if you have HTC Vive base stations set up in the room with this TV, the remote will not work! Roku smart tv interface is super fast and responsive, I no longer use xbox one or ps4 for netflix/youtube/hulu at all. For the price there is no TV better!!

Outstanding value for a 65" tv.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this tv (65R615) on sale in Dec 2019 for about $500. The delivery was on time. Actually the delivery was closer to the start time in the delivery window. That's always good. The tv setup went smoothly. I also use OTA channels. The tv found all of the stations I had previously found with my old tv. Plus, I installed the flashdrive so I can pause live tv. That seems to work flawlessly, although I've only tested it briefly to make sure it works. I am very happy with the picture quality. The upscaling on HD movies to 4kish seems to work great. Coming from an old plasma tv, I was worried about loss of the great viewing angles, but I could not see spending close to $2000 for a 65" OLED. So, one of my only concerns when shopping for a new tv was off angle viewing. The TV is placed where some people viewing it are off by as much as 30-45 degrees. I have sat at the extremes of the viewing angels in the room. The picture looks fine as far as I can tell, but I must admit I generally sit dead center. I don't notice any picture problems other people have reported, such as dirty screen effect. The only nit I can think of at the moment is that the mounting feet for the stand are very far apart. I had to buy a VESA mounting stand so that the tv would fit on the existing piece of furniture. That is a a small issue. I would definitely recommend this tv.

Good Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sure, you can probably get a better TV but you will have to pay a lot more money for it. I've had the 65" for a year now and so far so good. I came from a 1080p plasma so I can tell a big difference with the 4K content on the TCL. I also love the built-in Roku which includes YouTube and Amazon Prime Video. Consider this if you're in the market for a new TV. I have no regrets other than wishing TCL had released the 75" version when I bought this. I would have gotten the larger set instead.

Great picture for cheap!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought my 65” 6-series TCL tv for Black Friday a little skeptical because of the price. After a lot of reviewing, turns out this brand is less expensive because it’s not as well known in the states but very popular overseas. I use this TV with my PS4 and it works fantasitc. Only issue I’ve had was setting up my Logitech Harmony universal remote to work with The Roku so that the sound goes through my receiver. Other than that, this a great TV so far and I’m happy with my purchase.

Good tv suffers from dirty screen effect
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this tv in late January Image quality is good ROKU is easy to navigate Sleek design Bang for your buck Dirty screen effect Will lose wifi signal periodically IR remote sometimes doesnt respond fast No mic to communicate with TV Profile is rather thick Good TV even if it has several issues. In the end you're not paying thousands on a serviceable TV with great features and an easy to navigate UI

Great picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been very happy with my new TV so far (1 month). The picture is excellent. I was somewhat disappointed in the limited remote - no voice feature or number pad. But the Roku app on my phone has a voice feature that works fine. The TV's speakers aren't great, but I didn't think they were as bad as many reviewers have said. But I am using speakers now and it does make a difference.

Best Value 4K TV for the Money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For $700 you can’t beat the picture quality and ease of use. This TV replace my 2015 model Sony 65in X840D. The speediness of the menu, picture quality, and ease of use is outstanding. You would have to spend $2000 for a OLED for a better picture. I did mod this TV with aftermarket feet that mount on the VESA inserts due to the extra wide stance that would require me to purchase a new stand. $15 narrower stand is the way to go and can elevate the TV.

Best tv purchase ever
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought a nearly 4 thousand dollar samsung tv 3 years ago and it already crapped out. Was always hot and the curved design wasn't nearly as great as i thought. This TCL is awesome. Incredible picture for the price, doesn't get hot, easy to setup, and having Roku built in is just gravy. I did all my research and it paid off. TCL has a satisfied customer.

Happy with my purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been playing games in my PS4 pro and blown away by the picture, God of War looks amazing, the colors pop and the darks are deep. My only "complain" would be the speakers of this tv, but you are getting local dimming, the Roku platform, 4k, Dolby Vision HDR an elegant finish, low input for gaming for a great piece. The cons don't stand a chance against the pros. Love this TV.

Great 65 display!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this TV for all my gaming and 4k content needs. The HDR does fantastic especially at the 1000nits that it has. Very bright areas on the display. The blacks are incredible, not quite OLED quality but you wont be disappointed. Also the fact that the support for these TVs from manufacturer is amazing as well. This TV by far has been my favorite TV that I've purchased in the last 10 years and that's compared to LG and Samsung displays in the past.

Awesome 4K HDR display
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been following this display and caught it on a sale. Great 4K HDR and includes Roku. I have used Chromecast / Fire TV - but Roku built-in on this display is wonderful. I have it connected to a new receiver and ARC/CEC controls both. So the single Roku remote powers up display and receiver and controls volume! I have a PS4 Pro and Xbox X connected - but look fantastic! Totally worth the price for included features (compared to much more expensive brands).

Believe the hype.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture and beautiful looking tv. Replacing a 12 year old Panasonic plasma and the blacks are spot on. There is an app to calibrate it for you,and one to turn your phone into a remote control. For the price there is nothing that comes close. If you use an OTA antenna you can put a flash drive in the USB port and pause live tv.

Compared lots TV's
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TCL Series 6 - I like it and it's Roku interface is better than any other out there. Setup was easy. The picture so far is what I expected. My 1080p TV's may have to get replaced as the 4k blows them away. Read many articles and Series 6 is the most cost efficient when the price dropped as the Series 4 was a great price too. Delivery was within the window of time and well communicated. Delivery crew was excellent.

Excellent Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this TV when deciding that 55 inches wasnt enough. The black levels are deep, and the colors are vivid. MY PS4 Pro looks unreal using the 4K HDR feature of this TV. The smart TV features that the ROKU platform provides are unparalleled. This in my opinion is the best 65 inch TV on the market for under 1K. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Awesome TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Paid $450 for this awesome tv. 4k hdr, superb picture quality. Its a Roku tv. Super easy interface, just works. Came with a Roku remote, but no need to use it. The Roku app works great and you can send audio to headphones. More than a year now. No issues, no complains. For the price and features, you will not find a comparable tv
