Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the 65" Class 6 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Roku TV, particularly its picture quality, price, and Roku operating system. Many customers rave about the superb 4K HDR picture quality and find that it offers great value for the price. The Roku OS is also widely praised for its user-friendly interface and rich HDR content. However, there are some concerns about the remote control's quality and the TV's durability, with a few customers reporting issues such as vertical banding and a short lifespan.

It's a good tv for the price. Roku interface is surprisingly good, and using your phone as a remote is usually more convenient and better than a regular remote. My unit has some backlight issues where some random LED zones don't turn on every time the TV turns on. Fortunately turning it off and back on usually fixes it. Still, for the price, I don't think you can beat it.

    Awesome TV for the price

This TV is an awesome bargain for the price. After it went on sale for $799, and the March coupon for an additional 10% off (plus an additional 5% off for using a Best Buy credit card), I couldn't resist. I ran the white screen test on Youtube and could see subtle darker areas throughout the screen area. There was also subtle dark band at the bottom of the screen and minor vignetting in the corners, but when dynamic content is playing, you will not notice. No, it's not equivalent to one of the $8000 TV's you'll see in the Magnolia theater, but man it looks great. It 's no wonder TCL won the CNET Editors' Choice Award for 2018. If you have an Xbox, computer, or whatever, you can fine tune the visuals per input, which is a great feature. Plus, if your a gamer, the TV has an excellent low input lag, which higher end TVs might not have. Excellent work TCL, can't wait to see what you have in store for the future with 8K etc.

TCL seems like the perfect “budget” tv. Tried a Sony tv first but the software for the tv proved it IMPOSSIBLE to use so we returned it for this. TCL still has a great picture, roku interface is easy to use, & picture looks great. Audio is surprisingly good as well without using any sound bars or external speakers. Also, the thin dimensions of the tv stand are PERFECT so I can set my tv on the mantel above my fireplace.

The remote is IR, which is no big deal because you can download the Roku remote on your phone. The Roku app is incredible with a lot of free content. HDR is simply stunning. The TV is a little on the heavy side and only one ARC HDMI.

Was looking for a bigger TV to replace a 55” Samsung. Got this during the holidays for $499 and found it to be a great swap. The features outweigh those on the Samsung and the picture is about the same quality but then the Samsung is three years older and was about $200 more new. The minimalist remote takes a bit to get used to, overall it seems to be a very good deal

This tv delivered on all my expectations and wants. I had some concern about some screen issues I have seen in reviews but I have not experienced any at all. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone who can't afford an OLED but wants the best tech can offer. The only thing I could say negative is the IR remote. I would prefer a bluetooth, but I bought this TV for its picture not the remote.

I highly recommend this TCL Gen 6 Roku television! There are many adjustment settings for you to make tv viewing to your liking. Set-up is super simple. There are many pre-installed channel apps. You can add or delete apps easily too. Recommend checking to make sure your cable provider app is compatible with the tv before buying. Xfinity/Comcast is compatible. The picture quality is awesome.

The TV has a wonderful picture and lots of options to watch free programming, most of them with ads. The remote is OK for choosing an app, but when watching TV, there are no numbers to use when choosing a channel. You will need to use the up or down arrows to scroll through lots of channels to get to your choice. You can download a remote to phone or tablet, which goes a little faster.

At first I was Is skeptical about this TV, but I decided to take the plunge and buy it, and now I couldn’t be happier, the picture quality is great, the Roku integration is amazing, the HDR delivers great contrasts, The only con that I found so far is that I can’t set a timer, it’d be great if I could use my TV as an alarm too, but other than that not only the TV is amazing for the price but it’s simply amazing

So their are some uniformity concerns . Like some of the TV blacks look grey and so does the whites. Overall for the price though you can live with it. I do not have lines in my TV that some complain about. The roku works great, I have a Samsung 8000 55 inch and the smart features are no where near as good and the TV cost more! Proce to performance can not be beat.

This TV still blows me away at how great the picture is and the fact I got it for under $800 is amazing. I still believe the only better picture is the LG OLEDs. If you have not bought a TCL, try one. The Roku interface really easy as all the CNET reviews proclaim.

Very happy with this purchase. For the money, it can't be beat. It has an excellent picture and great viewing angles. The Roku interface is intuitive and so easy my wife can operate it. Their are reasons that the ratings are a best buy from several on line reviewers, it's an excellent performer for under $900 for a 65" TV Got it on sale and used store pickup. Easy and fast.

This TCL is a great intro into 4K TVs, provided you don't have an interest in many settings. You can't adjust as much as I would like, but it runs well. The built-in Roku is much better than my plug-in version ever was and the picture quality is pretty good. Input lag isn't too noticeable, making this a solid option for someone into gaming but wants a 4K TV.

I wanted to upgrade my 3 year old TCL. I am really enjoying my new 65 inch series 6 TCL. The Roku interface works very well and all my subscriptions reloaded without hassles. Picture is very good and the difference is remarkable. Treated myself to the TCL sound bar and all in all am very pleased with all the improvements.

I did a lot of research and watched this TV all year. I was tempted buy a cheap 65" Black Friday TV, but realized most of the cheap ones may be 4k, but are not true HDR and are poor quality. This is about as good as it gets for value vs. quality. It lives up to the hype. I am really glad I bought it.

I selected the '6' series TCL TV because of the reviews of it's picture. I wasn't disappointed. Picture is great and Roku integration makes operation a snap. (My wife can even use it!). All of the flat screen TV's have very small speakers, so I connected my existing Samsung soundbar to the HDMI ARC channel. It works great. I think that the difference in cost between the 55" and 65" sets is excessive, but this is a many year investment, so I paid it. I like the ability to pause for up to 90 minutes using a USB flash drive, but you have to remove this drive and insert a different one if you want to play media. I wish there were 2 USB slots so you could switch between them, but it works. Since the USB plug is on the back, you might consider a short USB extension (male-female) cable to bring the connection to the front of the tv. I downloaded the user manual from the TCL website. It's very useful. I've had several technical questions and I've used the on-line TCL support via e-mail. Response has been excellent.

Pretty good tv overall, but there can be variation of quality in the tv panel itself. I got a good panel and am happy with the tv. The Roku interface is very easy to use. I use it for mostly streaming shows, but also some OTA network tv and sports, picture quality is quite good at this price point.

Purchased this television after doing some research online and doing an eye test in the store between several models. This model compares with other brands at higher pricing. Interface works great. Wish they would have a default setting that it goes to when you turn it on as you have to select the input or app everytime you turn it on. Overall very satisfied.

This TV is excellent for the money, a great starting point for anyone looking to get into 4K HDR. I have had no issues with it since buying it almost two years ago. The Roku interface is also very easy to use and has a multitude of great apps to choose from. Overall great picture quality on this one. Highly recommended!
