Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the 65" Class 6 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Roku TV, particularly its picture quality, price, and Roku operating system. Many customers rave about the superb 4K HDR picture quality and find that it offers great value for the price. The Roku OS is also widely praised for its user-friendly interface and rich HDR content. However, there are some concerns about the remote control's quality and the TV's durability, with a few customers reporting issues such as vertical banding and a short lifespan.

No Issues. Lost the remote, had to get a universal in order to access the smart functions. Does not transmit over ARC for control of Audio --- if it does it doesnt do it easily. Picture is great. Settings are great and easily changed (with remote --- dont lose that joker) I bought my first one end of 2018, second one here at the end of 2019.

I bought this tv after reading so many great reviews here at Best Buy as well as some other online review sites. Overall it’s a nice tv with some frustrating issues/bugs. The Good -The picture is really good on this tv and it is my first upgrade to 4K. - The TV has a nice modern look to it and looks nice on a wall. - Great apps from Roku such as Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc... The Bad - Has issues when connected to an HDMI ARC Samsung Soundbar. Often requires resetting devices such as 4K video player, and cable box by unplugging from power outlet. Not sure what causes this but it is extremely frustrating and inconvenient. - Can’t use native Roku interface to access apps due to problem with HDMI ARC. It will show video but will not output sound. Spent a couple of hours with Samsung and Roku trying to trouble shoot. The final answer they provided was that there seems to be some incompatibility between the two devices and so I can’t use the Roku interface for the apps. I use the 4K player to stream from Netflix and Amazon. Works but not as nice of an interface as the Roku TV. I have had to learn to live with these issues but if you are not one to give in to these types of issues, I would look elsewhere.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this TV and it has not disappointed. The video quality is excellent—as good as many higher prices TVs in my opinion. The Roku interface is intuitive and works flawlessly. One weakness is the included Roku remote isn’t the best version Roku makes but if you want an upgrade you can buy it separately or just use the app.

I got this tv on sale and I had read the many reviews out there. I saw none of the issues other people had. My tv looks great and the price couldn't be beat. I will warn others to check model numbers before you jump at a TCL deal. The 6 series is where its at but I constantly see the 4 series still going on sale which might fool some.

I have only had my TCL 65” TV for about a month. The picture quality is awesome for an under $900 TV. The very corners of the screen do have a little black when the screen is white but not enough to bother me. Both 4k and Dolby vision are awesome. The built in Roku works just as good as my separate Roku ultra and is much more convenient. So far, I really like this TV.

Started with a Sharp 65" TV but it had crappy sound. I then got a Vizio but the picture quality wasn't there and the UI was absolutely horrible. I got this during a BF deal and I was surprised by the great picture quality. I love the built in Roku and the picture tuning feature with your phone is cool. Would highly recommend.

First time owning TCL brand tv. It have everything I need HDR10 and Dolby vision and Roku built in. The picture look great all the colors pop out even the black is really black the TV look very premium. Great for gaming no complaint here, I even recommend to my brothers and friends. I can't believe the cost of this TV is half the cost of the known brand. Very satisfied.

This TV has met and surpassed all my expectations. I was on the fence with 4K TV's due to their cost but read up on some reviews for this TCL. This panel meets and exceeds the standards of more expensive, well-known brands, with a fantastic price. Bought this at a good discount below retail and wouldn't hesitate to purchase it again for another room at full price.

As if I needed a bigger reason to be a couch potatoe! Lol absolutely love this tv! My fiancé read a few reviews from this tv and compared it with other on the market. Even though it is not the common names we are used to (Sony, Samsung, Panasonic) I could have not made a better choice! Colors and pictures are crisp and clean! All in all great value for the quality!

I purchased the 65 inch TCL 6 series TV hoping to reap the benefits of it's FALD and HDR capable display and not experience some of the issues others have experienced. Well, my TV is PERFECT! Great color, brightness and contrast. A nice evenly illuminated screen with no vertical banding. I got the two year extended warranty just in case.

First, let me say I did a lot of research before purchasing. The reviews all spoke wonders about TCL TVs. I will say they were right for the most part! The picture is amazing! I must admit, I'm not a huge fan of the roku platform (I like the smart tv menus on my samsung much more). However, I know many like it, and you are getting a built in Roku. My single biggest complaint is the remote. I don't know how this never comes up in customer or professional reviews. You have to point the remote straight at the tv with an unobstructed line of sight. I mean this thing can get a bit frustrating sometimes. The remote on my Samsung will trigger across the house through walls, but this thing struggles 8 ft away held up in the air straight toward the receiver. Not a deal breaker for an otherwise great TV, but you have been warned!

      Hi Erik,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. In addition to the remote that comes with your TV, you can download the free Roku mobile app on your Smartphone or tablet to use as a remote. Through the Roku mobile app, you gain access to power toggle, volume toggle, private listening, voice search, and more. Hope this helps!

      Thank you,

I have become loyal to TCL. This is our 3rd tv we’ve purchased from them. They have the best value and the Roku platform is so user friendly. This tv has great picture quality. Definitely equal to the quality of much more expensive brands. This is a must buy if your considering purchasing a new tv. You won’t find a better value for the price.

This tv is fantastic, and cost less than $1,000!!! It was very easy to mount on the wall, very light, and gives us a fantastic picture. It is an amazing smart tv, so we can stream all our shows and watch local tv. We were even able to set up an app on our phones to control the tv, so turning it on and off and watching our shows couldn't be easier.

This TV is well worth it. Has a great picture and is quality high definition. The volume is a lot better than I thought it would be by all the negative reviews. I don’t see anything wrong with it. Over all I am very impressed with it and would recommend it to everyone at this great price. The roku is pretty cool feature also.

I bought this when it was on sale for $799 two weeks ago. Replaced a 15 year old Sony 1080p TV. Quality difference is night and day. The Roku OS handles 4K hdr content well. Highly recommended, you would need to spend twice as much to get a better quality set

One Week In and already an issue??

Ok someone more versed in TVs can tell me if I should be concerned or not? I received the TV last week, and it was working perfectly until last night. The video cut from my program to flashes of different colors, while the audio continued with no issue. I unplugged the tv/replugged it and resumed working properly. But observing this so soon after receipt has me thinking I should be exchanging this for another TV. Anyone have any idea what kinda glitch is this? Was i just unlucky and received a defective TV? I don't wanna risk keeping it and this happens down the road when I'm not covered. I didn't take a picture of it, I took Video of the issue, but we can only upload photos here? I will post a screenshot of a still i guess. Any tips/advice? thanks

Love this TV. Price is right with all the extra features like Atmos Dolby Audio / Video. integrated Roku interface, easy to find shows and movies. I had to wait for couple of weeks but it was worth it. Planning to get LG soundbar to go with it so I can enjoy 5.1 Atmos Dolby.

I had never heard of TCL. Some of the reviews I researched said for the money the best picture and I have to agree. The display is amazing. Shows we've watched look so much better now. The colors are amazing. Easy to setup and Roku makes it easy to download and watch any app or streaming service you want.
