Sixty plus years as a consumer of capitalism has taught me to do my own research on anything I spend my hard earned money on. A 4K Ultra HD tv with Dolby Vision and Hdr 10 for almost half the price that you would pay for the same features and quality on any of the "Big Three" As far as ratings and reviews , a large percentage will tell you that the TCL 6 series is as good or maybe even better than the one of the big three that is four letters, but half the price. You won't find the TCL 6 series displayed side by side the S--- either as it won't help sell the $1700.00 set. The Roku platform is awesome, easy to use and very fast to respond. The negatives : Only if you miss out on this TV!

This is my first real TV purchase as primarily up to this point, I've purchased the lower end lcds that go on sale. There is no comparison! It's a shame that this tv was not properly displayed in store because it's right up there with TVs much more expensive. The colors and contrast are vibrant, stark, and rich. Watching Our Planet on Netflix is beautiful and allows this tv to shine. Normally I do not like the soap opera effect but there are times I've actually preferred it with this tv. As far as watching live games such as NFL, NBA, MLB, I've had nearly zero issues with ghosting and none when configuring settings for live action. I've had no issues with backlighting, bleeding, dirty screen effect either. If you're on the fence about this tv, like I was at first, take the leap and you won't regret it.

As a visual professional (image retouching, post production and video) the image quality of a television has always been critical. I work on color-calibrated monitors all day long and my standards are super high. This TV replaced a phenomenal but aging HD plasma TV, and joined an existing LG OLED 4K display. I've been nothing but impressed with the quality of this TV for the price. No, it's not perfect, but it is hands down better than anything I've researched in its price range and it delivers a fantastic picture. I definitely recommend to hook it up to external speakers, but in my opinion that goes for just about TV you buy these days.

Rated in many publications as the best value for a large screen LED TV. I read numerous reviews before making my selection and they have proven to be right. TV has met all of my expections at a very reasonable cost.

Beautiful color. Great for gaming. Great for watching TV and movies. Love the built in Roku. I’d recommend downloading the phone app or buying an updated Roku Remote because the default one is cheap.

I have read many positive reviews of this TV. They have been all accurate. The 6 series has great picture quality. The built in roku is easy to use and integrated well with the TV menu system.

For the money, this tv is on par with ones way above it's cost. It has local dimming and wide color gamut which are features that are not typically on tv's at this price range. Roku TV is one of the better systems I've used as well. 100% recommend.

Love the Roku TV interface for it's ease of use. I finally don't have to explain to my in-laws how to change inputs because the TV, DVD, Nintendo and all the streaming channels are on the home screen. Great picture and sound.

Great picture on football & streaming movies. Sound is good but could use more outputs for stereo & soundbar! If it had more outputs I would have given it 5 stars! Remote could be more responsive, sometimes it just locks up

I would recommend TCL to anyone. The TV is easy to setup as it practically does all the work for you. The picture quality is fantastic. There’s not a better TV for the money.

I love it. Great picture and 4k is awesome. Great price and Best Buy cake and mounted mine. Even cleaned up the box too. But roku would definitely upgrade and change the remote colors. I lose it all the time

This is one of the best TVs on value and awesome image. I stream movies and tv show, play 4k movies and video games and I just can say that is amazing pictures. I the kind of money this is the best. Very easy to navigate and search through the menu.

I've read reviews of TCL TVs for the past several years and this TV lives up to the the reviews. The TV is mounted in a room that gets a good bit of sunlight, and the picture is is bright and even. I really like the Roku interface, too.

Never heard of tcl before I seen it at the store. It's picture was beating tvs that costed triple so I figured I would give it a try. This thing is amazing for the price. 4K looks so real compared to the lg we have. Love the Roku features too.

Purchased this TCL 6 series on sale at $499 and is an insane tv for under $500. Delivery service was prompt and on time with notifications throughout the process. According to prior reviews these TV’s can be hit or miss out of the box, but mine worked just fine. If you go looking for imperfections (dark edges, etc) you may find them, but my suggestion is to not be an armchair professional television connoisseur. If you want to pay triple or quadruple the price for perfection so be it. Plenty of websites can give you a good idea of how to best tweak the picture settings on the tv. Enjoy!

This TV is total value, a lot of the bells and whistles without the heavy price tag. It does suffer from White to Black Blooming but that is every LCD with FAD. Picture quality is great and had no complaints about it what so ever.

This tv looks great and is better than more expensive LCDs. If you want oled picture this isn't for you but if you are shopping for a lcd this is the best option. Roku interface is amazing and ez to use.

First time with a TCL or Roku TV and it is fantastic. The picture is excellent, setting it up was very simple and took 10 minutes. The built in Roku is also terrific as it allowed me to easily cancel cable and save $100 a month.

I’m amazed at the value I got for the price. The picture is excellent, quite literally the best of any tv or monitor I’ve ever had. Only wish I could do 120hz like the latest version.

This TV is not only super simple to setup when you get it home but on a day to day use is just streamlined especially for everyone using streaming services without cable TV. This TV has outstanding image quality while still remaining well under 1000 dollars. HDR mode automatically turns itself on and off which I personally like. This tv has a game mode for everyone hooking a PC or console to it and its decent still latency but good overall. Speakers are surprisingly very good in this TV and they sound very crisp and clear. If you have never owned a ROKU TV, do it you will not be disappointed the integration of all supported devices and streaming apps greet you right when you turn the TV on. 10/10 TV love it.
