I bought this TV for my outdoor lanai. I selected it for 2 reasons. The first is that it is a Roku integrated TV and the second was the price. I didn’t want to spend a lot on an occasional use outdoor television. To my surprise, I am more than satisfied with the features, picture and sound quality. I bought another smaller version of this tv for my granddaughter’s playroom. Solid buy!

Extremely happy with TV performance. We have not noticed any banding issues to date and only slight (very slight) darkening in the corners (negligible though and barely noticeable in most situations). Was rated in many online reviews as best 65" set for under $1,000 and we were extra happy to get it for well under that price during the January sale. Very satisfied.

Of course the salesperson was showing me I think a Sony tv but I did some research & found reviews on the TCL tv. It is less than 1/2 the cost of a “brand” name tv & may not look as sleek but I am very satisfied w/the picture & sound & love that it has roku as part of the deal. If u feel u must pay more money & have that brand name on the tv for all to see, then by all means, buy the more expensive tv. I’d rather be spending that surplus on something else!!

The 6 series is a great TV for what you get. I purchased this TV a few weeks ago for $700. Great picture quality out of the box however i did have to tinker with the settings for optimal use. Roku feature is extremely easy to use compared to amazon fire stick. The only thing i dont like about this TV so far is that the remote. it is an infrared remote and must be pointed directly at the TV. other than that the TV is great.

I bought both a smaller 5 Series and this 65-inch 6 Series within a few weeks of each other (don't ask why...). Although I liked the 5 Series, I'm really glad I spent a bit extra on the 6 Series for my main TV. The picture quality is MUCH better. And the 5 Series isn't bad. But it made me wish I'd splurged on the smaller one, too. Nevermind the nickname... that was for a different product and I can't seem to change it.

I first heard about these TVs from TCL on CNET. I knew they were regarded as excellent both in quality and price. But when I got this home and set it up I was really impressed with the picture. About the only negative thing I can say about it is that there is some slight vignetting in the corners. But you really have to be looking for it in order to see it. It's not a big deal at all. I would highly recommend this television for anyone looking for a 4K TV.

When it comes to the visuals this tv is great, 4k is awesome. I used the built in speaks for a bit but they were a little low for my taste so I connected it to a sound bar. Now for the interface. I personally don't like the interface, I'm sure after a while I will used to it but seems a bit sloppy. The remote is small and I find myself hitting the volume buttons from time to time accidentally. All around this is a great tv and worth the money.

The TCL 6 Series has been a great choice. The picture is exceptional. I have been using Roku since the first version, and I like that the Roku stops streaming when the TV is powered off. I appreciate the options for setting up the TV. The TCL remote switches the power to my AVR off. The volume on the AVR can also be controlled. I am directly connected to the internet via ethernet cable. My other TCL TV is a year old now with no problems.

Researched TVs and this one stood out, happy I was able to get it! Great menu, excellent picture, easy setup.

We traded up to this TV due to the great professional And customer reviews. Coming from a 10 year old Samsung Plasma 1080p 58” , it’s a big difference in black levels and brightness. 4K is phenomenal and Dolby Atmos through my Nakamichi soundbar, just an awesome home theater experience. Best Buy had the best price and delivery went smooth.

Great colors and all the great sounding things you want in a 4K set like full array local dimming, dolby vision, hdr, roku, wide color gamut, etc. I did see excessive redness in people and the set is a bit too bright for me personally if I have to nitpick. But the TV failed in the most important aspect -- severe dirty screen effects. Large black blotches around the frame and middle of the screen. Turning the set off and unplugging the set would help to remove the blotches temporarily but they would reappear in random positions on the screen when turning the set back on. I expect to not see this when spending hundreds of dollars for a new TV but this problem is not uncommon evidenced by other customer feedback. The manufacturer should have better quality control. And not knowing how permanent this situation would be, I returned the set to Best Buy rather than be stuck with an expensive paperweight.

A steal at $800! 65 inches is just perfect! Beautiful picture. Deep blacks. Handles fast motion nicely.
