Excellent picture, Dolby Vision HDR, and Roku built in. What's not to like for under $1,000

I can't afford a $3500 LG OLED TV and this is the best next thing according to me now and as reviewed by CNET!! The ROKU interface is also wonderfully easy!! It was on sale to boot!! The newer Series 8 is suppose to be better, but it escapes me how it could!! I bought another one from another retailer in Dec 2019 for my oldest and he loves it too!

The color and clarity are great. Definitely worth the very reasonable price!

For the price, this has a great screen and, while the built-in Roku is nice, I still opted for a stand-alone Roku. Typically smart-TV apps are going to be discontinued way quicker than a stand-alone device like a Roku, Fire Stick, Apple TV, etc. TCL is quietly making some great screens at a fraction of the cost of the competition like Sony where, at the mid-market level, are not worth their price.

Great looking and picture is sweet. It was easy to setup and hang on the wall.

Picture quality is good. Blacks are blacks with the help of local dimming zones.

Bought this tv open box for less than $350. My 1st 4k tv and the picture is very gorgeous. I play my standard Xbox one and it looks great. The metal finish looks high end. The remote is okay but it gets the job done. I cannot speak for the sound as I am currently using a sound bar. I say if you can get this tv on sale you will not be disappointed!

This TV has a great picture. There is very little, if any, bleedover when viewing a dark background. The only issue I have is that the mount that I purchased has bars that protrude beyond the bottom of the set by about 2 inches. This is not a fault of the tv but my inexperience with mounting the tv to a wall. For those who are looking to wall mount this set uses a 300x300 VESA standard mount.

Read many reviews before making my purchase. Based on specs, and reviews of comparable items this model ranked in the the top 5. I was able to view this item at other locations besides BestBuy. Ultimately purchased at BB based on overall cost (price+delivery) and professionalism (respect) of sales personnel as opposed to interactions at competitors locations.

I was going to purchase an LG sk8000 however after looking at many reviews including CNET and RTINGS I could not see spending 400 more for the LG This is my second TCL (one mounted on my patio) and it delivers. The Roku interface is great. I put a 5 yr protection plan on this and still came in at about $1000. The unit was on sale. The LG SK8000 was $1200 plus $300 plus for a protection plan.

I absolutely love the Roku TV platform! It expands and completely blows the WebOS style smart TVs out of the water. Literally, so many apps the possibilities with this TV seem endless. Stepped up from a 55" 4k, and this TV is absolutely gorgeous! Very easy to operate. The product you get for the price you pay is definitely way better than selling out thousands on a more "name brand" model.

This Roku TV’s picture quality is outstanding. We’ve transitioned from Samsung to TCL. My only small issue is the sound & # of inputs. We had to get a splitter in order to use our Bose soundbar & headset. Splitter via Amazon & optical cables from Bose. Best Buy, Holmdel, NJ, employees understanding, knowledgeable & helpful too. Same for the setup folks.

This TV has been reviewed by many internet sites as a “Best Buy”. It’s picture quality has been favorably compared to tvs costing 3 times as much. I’m here to say believe the hype. The 4K picture reminds me of the difference I saw when my family went from b&w to color in 1969! Some vignetting in the corners but no banding issues that some have described. And 65” for 899! What a great deal.
