I am extremely confused as to the review I should live with this television. It was named the 2018 4K HDR television for under $1000. My first unit had a transformer issue and was replaced two days after delivery. My 2nd unit now is having poor connection issues with the hdmi ports or something internally wrong. When the TV works it is amongst the $2,000+ TV’s and the picture is stunning with Dolby Vision content and games.

I purchased this one because I got tired of my 4 series roku TV and all I can say is wow I can tell the difference between the two, and it's also lighter than the 4 series model as well as far as picking it up by yourself but overall it's an excellent TV and I'm looking to purchase another one soon.

We are very pleased with the TCL 65" 6-series smart TV. The picture quality is impressive. It doesn't always cooperate with our receiver, and I wish there was a way to have the TV start in the mode where it left off—instead of reverting to the smart TV interface when it turns on—but that's a relatively minor quibble.

This is our third TCL tv we have bought for our home! Love this brand! We wanted a great quality 65” TV for a good value and after much research comparing many brands, it was the best option! Series 6 has all the features of the more expensive options but for much cheaper! Very happy with the purchase!

After following many TV reviews and taking a chance on this TV because of a great bargain being offered at the time, I won the panel lottery and got a very good TV. I am very pleased with this purchase. Now on to find a 4K UHD Blu-ray player with Dolby Vision for a great bargain.

The tv looks great, the controller is slightly weak and doesn't always provide an immediate response but if you angle it the right way it is fine. Also Roku doesn't have HBO Max or Peacock. Hopefully that changes soon. Outside of that, no major complaints.

Love this TV. Worked well out of the box, no issues whatsoever with others' complaints about a bad panel. Looks great hung on the wall with minimal edges, mostly screen. Love the ROKU format, easy to use. We don't use the TV speakers so we can't review the sound. Would recommend.

Great tv especially for the price. Read a lot of reviews before purchasing and did not run into screen uniformity issues others have mentioned. There are other tvs with better picture quality but at a much higher price. Love having Roku built in and 4K content looks fantastic.

Great picture and nice UI (roku) for the price point. I will note the light bleed on the edges is a little annoying, but the over all brightness of this screen makes up for it. Did have trouble getting it to play nicely with a LG sound bar and an xbox one x (switching between arc and not).

This TV provides an excellent value - the best quality at this price point. Disappointing though to get an Infrared remote with the BestBuy model (that requires a clear line of sight with TV) than an RF voice remote if you bought this TV via any other retailer.

First off the only reason I gave it a 4 star was because the first tv I got was broken. Other than that I want to say how amazing the picture is on this tv when your watching 4k content. Also this has to be one of the best TV's for gaming. For the price you wont regret buying this tv

Originally bought a TCL as a bargain buy in college, have been following the brand in the years since and heard great things about the value of their 4K offerings so I decided to take the plunge. Very happy with the picture quality and the Roku software makes streaming a breeze, definitely recommend.

Great TV at mid price range. First sales person was knowledgeable of what we wanted. Guys that set it up were fast and good and answered all questions. The only complaint was the points not being added at time of sale.

The picture clarity is amazing. The refresh rate certainly surprised me. Never really used the Roku interface but I honestly can't live without it. So much versatility and exceeds the performance of my LG and Samsung smart TVs. And for the price it's really a no brainier.

Was really impressed with how protective the packaging was. The tv is big enough for our family to view from different seating c areas throughout the room. Great picture quality, but the volume isn't as loud as we prefer..we have to turn up both the tv and the sound bar

The TV looks great, but there have been some issues. One that keeps occurring has to do with the HDMI adaptor. Audio stops working through stereo and/or gets out of sync with the video. Can only resolve by unplugging TV and restarting. Other issue more major: less than 1.5 years out of the box, power supply quit working. Rolled the dice and bought whole new power supply board and replaced it myself for $71 incl shipping. Would have been at least $250 for a repair pro. Luckily it worked! Bought this TV at BB Feb '20 on sale for $549 + $71 for power supply so far. Still a good price for a great picture, but there are issues.

After reading reviews online for 65 inch TVs, I decided to give this one a try, as it seemed to deliver the best combination of features and picture quality for the money. After owning it for a few weeks now, I can say that I am definitely impressed and satisfied with the purchase.

I have had this tv for almost two months now and it has been great! I researched many different websites and this tv appeared on each one of them. I waited until it went on sale before I bought it and I feel like I got a great tv for a great price. I would recommend this television.

This tv is a great bargain and I actually like it a lot more than my Vizio (which cost almost double) definitely recommend the TCL brand after having this tv for over year I’ve had zero issues and it is great for everything

The TCL 65R615/ 65R617 is a top performer. It has more contrast control zones (120 on 65")than most others in it's class. Dolby vision and HDR10. At $970 for a 65" nobody else can top it. I've been watching and tweaking for a couple weeks now and I am very impressed and very happy with my purchase.
