Customers have good things to say about the 65" Class 6 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Roku TV, particularly its picture quality, price, and Roku operating system. Many customers rave about the superb 4K HDR picture quality and find that it offers great value for the price. The Roku OS is also widely praised for its user-friendly interface and rich HDR content. Lost the panel lottery on the first tv I brought home. The exchange for another tv was painless and easy in store. The second tv I am very pleased with. The Roku interface is very simple to use on this tcl tv.

Great picture quality and the Roku operating system is awesome. Did some picture adjustments that I found on CNET and it looks perfect. For the money it's the best TV I've ever owned.

Got price matched at a Black Friday level deal, but even without that the performance for the cost is amazing. Roku and the free month of sling help show you how easy it is to cut the cord as well. The picture is AMAZING. GO for it.

Read the reviews. Not sure I could see the difference with more expensive sets unless side by side. Big the for me are blacks need to be black. Set delivers on the score. Dont see any problem with the 60 hz refresh.

TCL is definitely THE up-and-coming TV manufacturer. I would suggest buying one before they become popular and their prices go up. Great picture quality, easy set up, and great price. Roku has a ton of apps, so you’re completely covered.

Nice TV have enjoyed it so far. I had the 55 inch version of this one and it lasted about a year. Thankfully I had the protection on it so it got replaced. I decided to upgrade to the 65 inch and so far so good.

This is an excellent Microwave oven, just what I wanted. However, this is the second one due to the first one being damaged by shipping/warehouse handling cinching down the pallet straps too tightly and putting a large dent in the top/side of the unit. Got a second one and it had some of the same damage, but not enough to keep it from being installed, so I decided to not make an issue of it and keep it. But was very disappointed with BestBuy's quality control. Seems to me that if a customer returns a unit that is damaged in the way this unit was, then someone should have unboxed the next one and made absolutely certain that there was NO damage. This was, obviously not done.

I was hesitant at first but the TCL didn’t disappoint. Quality is great and Roku is a nice bonus. Couldn’t be happier! Added bonus of the ease in navigating btwn cable, Netflix and my other streaming services.

No complaints for this very large smart television. It looks great and sounds great. Geek Squad from “appliances” mounted it for me and was limited only to the tilting mount because our walls are concrete.

I had a 40 inch TCL Roku TV in my bedroom for a few years now and loved it. So I sold my living room TV and bought this one. The picture is great and when connected to a soundbar your entertainment center is complete.

    Broken within three days

I bought this tv after reading CNETs glowing review and waiting until cyber monday for a good deal. It was a pain to mount because the holes on the back of the tv are at the very bottom instead of dead center and within three days of having it up on the wall half my screen had transparent shadow bars going across and up and down. I called TCL customer service and they kindly taught me how to reset my tv but surprisingly that did not help the issue. Now i dont know if i should return this tv for another one of the same model or buy a better quality brand tv and have to go to the trouble of moving my mount. Money and time well spent.

Colors and blacks are amazing, I would definitely bypass the deep discount models at superstores and take a look at this TV. It’s worth the extra cost. Only complaint is the IR remote specific to the Best Buy version.

Amazing Picture Quality Even Among The Giants

This review is pretty long and contains my personal opinions on the TCL R615 TV, including my personal recommendation regarding the purchase of this TV. Design/Install (9/10) I have to say that I wasn't crazy about the way this TV looked when I'd seen pictures posted on Rtings and various other review sites and videos. To me, the tv looked too thick and the brushed aluminum just didn't appeal to me. I'm happy to say that I was dead wrong about the design, because I absolutely love it. It definitely won't be the thinnest TV you've ever seen, but this TV feels QUALITY. The brushed aluminum feels great and solid. The TV is heavy and just doesn't feel cheap in any way. Installing the legs is as simple as you would expect, and can be oriented the way it is show in the display pictures or the legs can be oriented inwardly, saving space for smaller tables. The only drawback of this TV comes from having only 3 HDMI ports. My Sony Bravia TV from a couple years ago has 4 HDMI ports. However, all 3 HDMI ports are HDMI 2.0 compatible, which is great! Plugging in all your media is incredibly user friendly and the Roku TV will walk you through the process if you need it! Sound Quality (N/A) I truthfully haven't spent much time listening to the audio on this TV. I plugged my sound bar into it right away. However, I have heard a little bit, but nothing to give a full review on. To my ear, it actually sounds better than you would expect from a TV in this price range and if you can't afford a sound bar or some other sound system, I think you will be happy with the audio on this TV. I'm not giving this TV a sound score because I don't think that would be fair to the TV. Also, I'm sure you're not looking to buy a new TV based on the best internal speakers! Smart TV Features: (10/10) This is obviously a Roku TV, so if you've used Roku before, then you know it is an excellent smart TV system. I previously had a Roku stick and really liked it. I have been using Android TV for the past 2 years and I can't tell you what an upgrade Roku TV is over Android TV. Android TV lags like crazy and makes looking for content a chore, whereas Roku TV makes everything feel snappy and effortless. Roku has pretty much every cord-cutting app you could want, so i see no reason why you shouldn't love the Roku platform. The only issue I've had with the Roku platform is with the Youtube app. I have pretty fast internet at 150 Mbps and can cut through streaming content with no problems. For some reason, the first Youtube video i played on the Roku Youtube app took quite a while to load and buffered for a while before reaching 4k HDR. I'm not 100% it was the youtube app or if it was my internet, but just something to mention. Every Youtube video i played after the initial video streamed flawlessly, so don't even worry about it. I also love that the Roku Youtube app does have HDR support so you can fully experience the highest quality videos on Youtube! Picture Quality (9/10) For me, there was quite a bit of hype surrounding the picture quality of this TV. I had heard excellent things about last year's model being one of the best pictures at the price point, and how it could compete in some ways with more expensive and premium TV's. As I waited for this TV to come out, I began to get extremely excited knowing that we would be getting an upgrade of last years model. After this TV was released I read everything I could about the picture quality because my local Best Buy does not have this tv on display. After reading positive and negative comments on best buy, Amazon, etc., and reading/seeing countless reviews, I decided to pull the trigger. My wife and I went to Best Buy a couple days ago to see if the TV was on display, but it wasn't unfortunately. While looking around, we couldn't help but be amazed at the amazing picture quality of the LG OLED and Samsung QLED monsters. They were just so vibrant and had amazing contrast that I was questioning whether or not I should save up and try to buy one of those TV's. I decided that I really couldn't ever justify spending $3,000+ on a TV, so I took a chance and purchased the TCL 65 inch. I started running tests and calibrating the TV as soon as I got it plugged in and set up. The first thing I noticed was the ridiculous black levels! I read countless reviews talking about the black levels, but they did not do this TV justice. Look, it's not quite OLED black, but it is really really close. When this tv displays anything that is black, the TV looks like it is turned off in those areas because of the Full Array Local Dimming feature of this TV. I could talk about it all day, but you really have to see it to believe it! The colors on this TV are amazing and when viewing 4k HDR content, this TV really shines. It is not as bright as the Samsung QLED TV's, but it gets really bright and HDR really stands out on this TV. I Know you can get better HDR than this tv allows, but you will need to pay a substantial amount of money to get it. As far as the brightness goes, there were times while watching the Dolby Vision previews that my eyes actually hurt from viewing the content, so brightness really isn't and issue! After viewing the LG OLED's and Samsung QLED's I can honestly say that the picture quality is in the neighborhood of those TV's. I would equate it like this: If you've ever owned a gaming PC, you know there are more powerful video cards to make your games look extra beautiful, but is 10-15% power increase equal to a 50% or more price increase, and I say no. This TV probably has a 10-15% degraded pictured compared to those super high end TV's, but is a 10-15% decrease in performance equate to a 50% or more price increase for the super high end TV's? I would definitely say NO. This TV gives you crazy bang for the buck and there is no reason to not buy this TV. I have heard of vertical banding issues and various other screen imperfections from other users, but they have not showed up in my TV. I would never discount those issues, but if you look at the unsatisfied customers here on Best Buy, you will see that TCL is reaching out to make it right with those people. If you made it to the end of this review, then you already know you should buy this TV.

Great TV. Download Roku App to phone for infinite picture adjustments but great out of box. Actually prefer this TV over 625 series. If considering 625 take this one or wait for 2020 model. Recommended!

Although not as great as some of the other brands, this T.V. is a great “value” T.V. I was lucky enough to purchase one without the banding issues that others have had, and the picture quality is great for the price I paid.
