Dead pixels

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A gnat-sized area of dead pixels appeared center-left on my screen a couple of months after I bought it. They're not going to do anything about it because it falls under an "acceptable" amount of dead pixels according to their warranty guidelines, but I can see it from across the room every time I turn on the TV, particularly when using it as a PC monitor. Once you see these things your eyes are drawn to them and you can never train yourself to ignore them. Never had a dead pixel problem with any other brand of TV I've owned. Other than that it's a decent TV, but I won't buy TCL again. 750 is too much of a coin toss when it comes to quality control. And ignore any TCL customer rep responses that might get posted below, they're not going to help, those posts are just there to fool you into thinking they will.

Great TV for our game room

Best bang for your buck (on sale)

That said, the real bargain is when this device goes on sale every few months. No issues to report at this time, and am confident in Best Buy's return policy if I do encounter any problems. Only advice I have is to take the time to properly adjust your settings. Get the best picture for your unique room's features (e.g. lighting, glare, etc.) and make sure you have it set up at an appropriate height relative to your sitting area. Lots of guides online. Enjoy!

Outstanding buy

Great Budget TV
