    The first TV I took home had a few dark spots that started getting worse every day. I exchanged it after 2 1/2 weeks. The second one looks great and has no issues. If I didn't have a bad one first I would have given 5 star.

    This was my first time trying a TCL TV after reading many reviews praising this TV. It has a lot of good features and the picture was pretty good. The only problem is the quality is crap and it stopped working after only 3 months and will not even turn on. After the run around with customer service they said someone will contact me in a few days to try and schedule a time to come out and service the TV, it has now been over a week and still not working TV. Don't expect to get much life out of a TCL TV,

    Tv seems to work well, Though corners of tv are dimmer than rest of picture, probably manufacturing quality issue,also not compatible w/ sk5 from Lg sound bar thru ARC.

    Great TV just wish there were no defects

    I have been eagerly anticipating this TV so once I was able to pre-order I did. I picked up the TV Friday and hooked it up. I was disappointed to see the corners of the TV suffered from shadowing. I am not sure how this passed QC. Disappointed and not sure if I will keep product.

    Ok 4K TV

    For the price, you can't beat it. However, the picture is underwhelming even for a cheaper TV. The detail is not the best and the colors or just ok. I actually ended up returning it in exchange for a projector.

    I've had this tv for 2 years. I was very happy with the picture quality and it's mounted on a wall mount and when we touched the screen to move it face a different part of the house the screen became damaged, I was shocked that by touching the screen (not hard at all) it created a big black line across the screen. Never again will purchase an expensive tv if they are so easy to break.

    Decided to give this set a try even though my old 60" Samsung plasma was still going strong (albeit after the motherboard had to be replaced twice in three years). The previously mentioned negatives on prior reviews haven't been a big deal to me. The only thing I notice is the darker corner edges of the screen, which I don't look at anyway. I have to be actively looking for the other issues (DSE, vertical banding) in order to notice it, and during normal viewing, it's a nonissue for me. My main concern was sports viewing, but watching football has been fine. I noticed a little stuttering initially while watching basketball, but even that's been less noticeable over time and not a reason to return the set. The colors are vivid, the screen is plenty bright (almost too bright, particularly at night), and 4K HDR content is spectacular. I didn't know what I was missing watching my 1080p plasma. The Roku interface is good, and some native apps (like Youtube TV) look better on Roku's platform as opposed to playing on FireTV Cube's (which I have connected to this TV). The Cube runs Amazon Prime video faster and better, and is my preferred platform for just about every other streaming app. All this for $465 new delivered to my door in two days, and this was a winner for me. Hopefully I'll get as many (or more) good years as I did from my plasma.

    Picture is OK - Optical Audio Out not working

    Only had this TV for about a month, and when we started exploring audio out functions to push sound through my receiver, my technician and I discovered the Optical Audio Out is not working. TV is already on the wall and we're not returning, but this aligns with various other QC/QA issues other customers have revealed with TCL. We'll make it work with the Audio Return Channel(ARC) but even the menu for that function was difficult to find and navigate.

    Better quality TV han the 4 series of TLC, however, nothing spectacular. If you like ROKU TV's this is definitely the best one out

You can access the Options menu on the TV by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content. Additionally, you can access expert picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet.     Worst TV Purchase in 20 years

    Less than 60 days after purchase the screen is out (or the back light, but the end result is the same as there is no picture). Brand new purchase, and with it being summer we've probably only been home/ had this TV on for a grand total of less than 24 hours. I still have a working plasma TV from 2006, but this one didn't even last 2 months. Very disappointed, and had no idea Best Buy had such a short return window (15 days).

    TCL doesn't last more that 2 years.

    I purchased this TV on Sep 17, 2019. TV has been working fine including all of the channels I have. No complaints with the Roku it works fine. All has been good in my Man Cave until March 25, 2021 the TV never turned on. I'm so upset, I've owned my Samsung since 2007 and I never experienced any issues like this. Now I'm forced to reconsider Samsung or LG since TCL doesn't seem reliable at the end of the day. Thank God I purchased the extended warranty

    Junk. Barely lasted a year before it stopped turning on. Picture was decent for the money. Sound was subpar.

    Invest your money in better brands!

    Wanted an LG, but decided to save $400 and try TCL based on sister's experience. Played around with settings and was able to improve resolution quality, but would've returned TV had delivery men not taken box away, which I had asked them to do forgetting that I may need it later. (Had spent almost an hour cutting down a Samsung TV box last year and didn't want to do it again.) Would never recommend TCL to anyone! Could be more user friendly, but can't expect much from low quality product.

    One month in it went green

    Installed Christmas day and by January 27th it was done. Green and white stripes were all we could see. Had service plan, but convinced Best Buy to exchange for another brand

    Returned it for a 55" of the same type. Returned the 55" for a different brand. The color seemed off and anything with action did not appear clear.

    Ours suffered from DSE (Dirty Screen Effect) and vertical banding issue. Returned it through manufacturer warranty directly to TCL and they made good on it refunding our money and we got the Vizio 75in P Series instead.
